Yes and that statement would make sense if we were talking about D2. D2R however, is not D2. D2 already exists.
Further more, improving drop rates and exp at higher level (say level 95+) won’t magically transform the game into a D3, or otherwise this already happened with the addition of DClone, Uber Trist, Respec, Mana potions to vendors and many other changes.
You do realize the latest version of D2: LoD is not the “pure” version right? I see many purists confused about it but they never played the real version. Did the game become D3 when they allowed vendors to sell mana potions too? What about Enigma/Anni/Cta/Torch/etc. of which I probably hate them all?
The game hasn’t aged well for 2022 (or 2021) that’s a fact. Most of us have lives and no longer school-children. Many other games are available too. D2 still exists, D2R is a nostalgia trip which should have been a total remake to be honest.
Too bad it’s a fact and not a statement though, and you can fact check it easily. Saying facts cannot be considered seriously is not a good look.
Thank the new and old gods it wasn’t. And the producers made it clear it wouldn’t be. You should work more on your comprehension skills!
If you would spend half of the time you spam the forums asking for handouts, actually playing the game, you might just get lucky at some point.
Completely agree…yet you act more entitled that school-children, asking for the authentic D2 experience, an infernal slot machine, to be diluted.
It is pure entitlement to ask for a game to chance its core in order to fit your selfish needs, instead of adapting to the gameplay or quitting.
Also touching the topic of the thread, as not to be accused I didn’t: sure…close d2jsp…couldn’t care less
The worst affect is people knowing the worth of said gear! Of course you want your Shako to retain its coveted value week 1 of Ladder so you may profit on late starters. Found a Ber? Well its priceless early in Ladder or you may exchange it for better loot than anyone has at that time. The only problem you have is greed and self interest!
I’m sorry, but it’d be difficult to shut down considering it’s essentially the same thing as a very larg clan using DKP to sell items to other clan members that they earned. It sucks, but it’s reality.
That’s not true Blizzard needs to issue a Cease and Desist order.
How is what’s taken place in D2 Different then D3 RMAH?
Short answer it really isn’t…
The main Difference is Blizzard isn’t the one in control but third party Sellers such as D2jsp and MANY others. (It still revolves around money)
On what grounds? That website doesn’t infringe their rights in any way. No matter how much you dream about this, there’s no legal way of taking it down.
