Got an andariels visage, and a cham rune, which I reckon isnt worth much.
Is this crazy? Am I wasting my rune? Should I wait for a VampireGaze?
Socket it with a Chad. Then you’ll have the best Andy’s visage in the game.
If it is for your merch, you should try and find an eth Visage to invest a high rune on it, but “chamming” it is fine. If it’s for you, I would suggest you use a ral rune instead, since your fire resist is getting a negative buff, and use a raven frost ring to get the cannot be frozen from.
It is for my merc. Which gets frozen often from what I see… so I should wait. Whats the best helm for a merc? V gaze?
It depends on what you’re farming, what weapon and armor you are using. But eth Visage is considered to be best in slot if you are using a colossus voulge as a weapon, since it gives the merch enough strength to use it.
Kira’s Guardian is an alternative for helmet, since it also has the cannot be frozen mod.
But you should use it combined with a weapon with life leech.

No, you’d hand the visage over to your merc and Ral it for the extra fire resistance until you were able to replace it with an eth.

The only time i see cham used in helm is magic find barb using find item cause ravenfrost has some cold damage which shatters bodies at times so many of them dont use raven frost and cham their helm for cannot be frozen to not shatter bodies to magic find (even unique bosses like pindle can shatter if frozen)

I didn’t have Treachery yet and had problems with him keeping up because he was slowed down and didn’t attack fast enough being frozen or decrepified.
It is much better now so I guess I’ll keep that cham.
