I traded this jewel I found for an Ohm to make a Call to Arms for my Bone Necro and other toons. But now I’m having second thoughts, my main concern is if it rolls super low does it make much of a deference? Also if it DOES roll super low, did I waste my rune?

Well this is what we play the game for. The slotmachine simulator, gives the adrenalin rush we crave for. Do it. If it’s low, it’s low, but it’s still a buff. If you can do something else whit that Ohm, that is a guarantied buff and can’t fail, do that instead. But you’ll eventualy want a CtA sooner or later.
If you play a sorce or other squishy character ide roll the cta.
I mean with Shared Stash you only need one CTA, so yeah, unless you multi-client with bo barb.
If you can trade for a ready-made CTA go for it.
sad to say that it is almost always better to buy ready made ones btw… chances of rolling something that is worth lesser than ohm is higher than higher than ohm.
if you roll a low one the CTA will be worth less than the ohm, yea.
but even a 1 BO is a significant boost. as captain adama from battlestar galactica says
sometimes you have to roll a hard six

Just roll it…maybe you are lucky. Don’t be afraid to gamble.
I rolled all my runewords by myself. Some rolled good…some didn’t. All runewords except Pride 
…too expensive just for a niche use for my bowazon merc.(only paid a sur for a non-eth thresher 19Conc one)
The satisfaction if you manage to get a good roll is priceless.
Just my 2 cents.
Do other people feel this way? I certainly don’t. I play because it’s fun. If I get a bad roll it feels terrible. If I get a good roll it feels meh. Can’t say I’ve ever gotten an adrenaline rush from an item. More when I escape a bad situation by the skin of my teeth. Those are the exciting times.
Max Bo and min bo cta hp difference is very minimal, we’re talking like 100-200hp difference. Then again it’s preference as that might be anywhere from 5%-20% of your health pool.
The key is to use all skills gear, not +class gear. That way your +all skills gear boosts the BO.
This is why Maras is so much better than tal ammy in my view. And why tal set isn’t even close to shako/skulders/Mara.
It’s one aspect. The crafting of items that can be either perfect or total 
. Ofcourse over all we all play for fun.
If you don’t have any +all skills gear then 1BO CtA is a pain to use. I mean you can have lore and spirit at least, so it will be level 5.
But if you can get like +6 off-weapon then a level 8 BO is quite helpful.
But is’ worth to make it just for the fun of the roll man.
What else do you do with an ohm rune???
Faith, Exile, a few others.
Exile(shield with life tap and defiance aura- bis for smiter) and Faith( fana aura bis for strafe bowazone) are the first that come to mind.
