IDKD2R this is the one i play atm been at it for a few days and its not bad

General

  • Capped all base monster resistances to 75 (Enchanted rares etc can still surpass 75)
  • NoDrop has been reduced by about 50-66% (this means that enemies are far less likely to drop nothing)
  • Increased monster density by 5% in Nightmare difficulty
  • Increased monster density by 10% in Hell difficulty
  • Any zone that had a monster level of at least 75 has been raised to 85 (this means basically any side area, or pretty much any area from act3 Hell onwards)
  • The Countess now always drops 3 runes
    • Up to Thul in Normal difficulty
    • Up to Lem in Nightmare difficulty
    • Up to Lo in Hell difficulty
  • The rune drop rate formula has been made more linear, making higher tier runes more common than before (Zod is about 5x more likely to drop)
  • Changed the name of runes to represent their tier (e.g. “9. Ort Rune”)
  • Health and mana potions now all have 100% effectiveness on all classes (previously some had higher effect than others)
  • Increased potion heal/mana amounts to make them more competitive with Rejuvenation potions
  • Player Inventory has been increased to 10x8 Slots
  • Player stash has been increased to 16x13 slots, with 7 shared tabs and one personal
  • Items now display ilvl appended to their name
  • Diablo Clone can now be spawned by selling either a single Stone of Jordon or Standard of Heroes
  • Respec Tokens are now available at typical potion sellers for a modest price
  • All ladder items are now available in single player

Cube

  • All rune upgrade cube recipe’s no longer require gems
  • Added new cube recipe for downgrading runes (just one rune will output a rune 1 tier lower)
  • Added a new recipe for any white item which can be socketed to add sockets. Item + jewels(1-6) = item socketed (1-6) (item can still only have sockets based on their ilvl and type)
  • Added a new Magic item downgrade recipe which turns it into a normal white item, Magic Item + Tir Rune = Normal Item (keeps ilvl)

Mercenaries

  • Increased all mercenary health and health-per-level by 20%

  • Mercenaries no longer gain resists per level

  • Mercenaries can now equip gloves, boots, belts, rings and an amulet

  • All mercenaries skills are the same between difficulties

  • Rogue - Fire now use Inner Sight, Exploding Arrow and Vigor

  • Rogue - Cold now use Inner Sight, Freezing Arrow and Blessed Aim

  • Eastern Sorcerer - Fire now uses Fireball, Meteor and Enchant

  • Eastern Sorcerer - Cold now uses Ice Blast, Glacial Spike and Blizzard

  • Eastern Sorcerer - Lightning now uses Lightning, Chain Lightning and Static Field

  • Desert Mercenary - Combat now use Jab, Taunt and Prayer

  • Desert Mercenary - Offensive Jab, Taunt and Holy Freeze

  • Desert Mercenary - Defensive Jab, Taunt and Defiance

  • Barbarian 1H - now use Frenzy, Iron Skin and Might

  • Barbarian 2H - now use Bash, Stun and Might

Player Characters

  • Doubled base mana regen (0% to 100% in 60 seconds)
  • Increased base stamina by 100 (almost double for all classes)

      • Power Strike - Now deals damage in a small aoe around the target, removed Lightning Bolt as a Synergy, buffed the synergy damage from 14% to 21% to compensate
      • Poison Javelin - Reduced base mana cost to 2, also no longer consumes ammo
      • Lightning Bolt - Reduced base mana cost to 4, removed Charged Strike and Lightning Strike as synergies, increased synergy amount from 3% to 6% to compensate, also no longer consumes ammo
      • Plague Javelin - Reduced base mana cost to 6, also no longer consumes ammo
      • Lightning Strike - Reduced base mana cost to 6, removed Lightning Bolt as a synergy, increased synergy amount from 11% to 16%
      • Lightning Fury - Reduced base mana cost to 8, removed Charged Strike and Lightning Strike as synergies, increased synergy amount from 1% to 2%, also no longer consumes ammo

      • Valkyrie - removed aidel ( a 0.3 second delay between attacks) increased movement speed by 75%, changed AI to ShadowMaster, now occasionally casts Power Strike at the same level as the players Power Strike, increased summon limit by 1 per 10 base points (3 max at skill level 20)

      • Fire Arrow - No longer consumes ammo
      • Cold Arrow - No longer consumes ammo
      • Multiple Shot - No longer consumes ammo
      • Exploding Arrow - no longer consumes ammo
      • Ice Arrow - no longer consumes ammo
      • Guided Arrow - can now pierce, also no longer consumes ammo
      • Immolation Arrow - no longer consumes ammo

      • Fire Blast - removed Shock Web, Charged Bolt Sentry and Lightning Sentry as synergies, increased synergy amount from 11% to 27%
      • Shock Web - Removed Fire Blast as a synergy, instead added the benefits into the skills base points
      • Charged Bolt Sentry - Removed Lightning Sentry’s shots per level synergy and instead added the benefits into the base skills points, changed the Fire Blast damage synergy to a Shock Web damage synergy
      • Death Sentry - Removed Fire Blast as a synergy and instead added the benefits into the base skill points, reduced the corpse explosion damage from 40%-80% at base down to 10%-40% scaling by 3% with each base point
  • Necromancer

    • Summoning
      • Raise Skeleton - Removed aidel (a 0.75 second delay between attacks)
      • Clay Golem - reduced aidel from 15 to 5 (a 0.75 second delay between attacks, now reduced to 0.25) also increased summon limit by 1 per 10 base points (3 at skill level 20) Doubled base damage, increased synergy from fire golem by 5 times (from 6% to 30%) Tripled base damage
      • Golem Mastery - added a scaling attack speed stat
      • Raise Skeletal Mage - Removed aidel (a 0.75 second delay between attacks) multiplied damage by 10x, and reduced poison length by just as much
      • Blood Golem - reduced aidel from 15 to 5 (a 0.75 second delay between attacks, now reduced to 0.25) also increased summon limit by 1 per 10 base points (3 at skill level 20)
      • Iron Golem - reduced aidel from 15 to 5 (a 0.75 second delay between attacks, now reduced to 0.25)
      • Fire Golem - reduced aidel from 15 to 5 (a 0.75 second delay between attacks, now reduced to 0.25) also increased summon limit by 1 per 10 base points (3 at skill level 20), reduced mana cost per level from 8 to 4
      • Revive - Now lasts almost forever
    • Poison and Bone
      • Teeth - Removed Bone Wall and Bone Prison as synergies, increased synergy amount from 15% to 30%
      • Corpse Explosion - Reduced damage down to 20%-50% but gave it 3% scaling damage per base point
      • Bone Spear - Removed Bone Wall and Bone Prison as synergies, increased synergy amount from 8% to 16%
      • Bone Spirit - Removed Bone Wall and Bone Prison as synergies, increased synergy amount from 8% to 16%

      • Lower Resist - Lowered the effect of the skill by roughly half, now scales from -10% at skill level 1, to -34% at skill level 20

      • Shout - Doubled the duration synergy amount
      • Battle Orders - Changed to provide flat stats rather than % increases, now provides 100 + 15 maxhp per level, and half as much mana and stamina, also doubled the duration synergy amount
      • Battle Command- Now provides an additional +1 All Skills per 10 base levels (total max +3 at skill level 20) also doubled the duration synergy amount
    • Combat Masteries
      • Blade Mastery - Reworked into Melee Mastery, provides bonuses to all melee attacks
      • Axe Mastery - Removed
      • Mace Mastery - Removed
      • Polearm Mastery - Removed
      • Spear Mastery - Removed
      • Shield Mastery - New Skill! Provides increased chance to block with shields
      • Body Training - New Skill! Provides max health% and flat health regen per level

      • Holy Fire - Over doubled the rate in which the area damage occurs, and halved the damage (this is a slight damage increase to area damage, whilst keeping the bonus damage to the weapon the same) Removed Salvation synergy and merged its bonus into the Resist Fire synergy
      • Holy Freeze - Over doubled the rate in which the area damage occurs, and halved the damage (this is a slight damage increase to area damage, whilst keeping the bonus damage to the weapon the same)
      • Removed Salvation synergy and merged its bonus into the Resist Cold synergy, also improved the synergy total from 22% to 25% per level
      • Holy Shock - Over doubled the rate in which the area damage occurs, and halved the damage (this is a slight damage increase to area damage, whilst keeping the bonus damage to the weapon the same)
      • Removed Salvation synergy and merged its bonus into the Resist Lightning synergy
      • Conviction - reduced base elemental resist to -11% with -1% scaling per point (max -50%)
    • Combat Skills
      • Holy Bolt - Now deals half damage to any enemy that is not an undead or demon (this effect Fist of the Heavens bolts)
  • Sorceress

    • Cold Skills
      • Ice Bolt - Improved synergy scaling from 15% to 40% and removed Frost Nova, Blizzard and Frozen Orb as synergies
      • Frostbite - New skill! (Level requirement: 1, takes the skill tree position of Frozen Armor) Adds cold damage to attacks, along with attack rating and a 2 second chill duration, similar in effect to enchant. (50% ranged damage penalty)
      • Ice Blast - Improved synergy scaling from 6% to 9% and removed Frozen Orb as a synergy
      • Frozen Armor - moved down to Shiver Armor’s position on the skill tree, increased freeze length, increased buff duration, given a synergy with Frostbite for 3% armour per level
      • Shiver Armor - removed from the game
      • Glacial Spike - Improved synergy scaling from 5% to 8% and removed Frozen Orb as a synergy
      • Blizzard - Improved synergy scaling from 5% to 7% and removed Ice Bolt as a synergy
      • Chilling Armor - removed synergies for Shiver Armor, increased buff duration, given a damage synergy with Frostbite instead of Shiver armor, changed duration synergies to 3% armour synergies
      • Frozen Orb - cooldown reduced from 1 second to 0.75 seconds
      • Cold Mastery - Changed from 20+5/plvl Cold Pierce to 10+5/plvl Cold damage with a flat bonus of +10% Cold Pierce
    • Lightning Skills
      • Lightning - Improved synergy scaling from 8% to 12%, and removed Nova as a synergy
      • Chain Lightning - Improved synergy scaling from 4% to 10%, and removed Nova as a synergy
      • Teleport - Added a 5 seconds cooldown, which scales down to 0 seconds with base points
      • Thunderstorm - Now generates small novas on impact, reduced synergy scaling from 7% to 5%, added Nova as a synergy
    • Fire Skills
      • Inferno - Added a new damage synergy with Fire Wall
      • Blaze - Dramatically increased the duration of the buff and decreased the duration of the fire which persists, the skill now also provides 2% attack speed per level
      • Enchant - Ranged weapons now receive 50% of the bonus, rather than 33%
      • Meteor - Removed Fire Bolt as a synergy, increased the damage synergy from 5% to 10%.
      • Hydra - Now shoots Fire Ball projectiles
  • Druid

    • Elemental
      • Twister - Arctic Blast synergy removed, instead added the benefits into the skills base points
      • Volcano - Armageddon synergy removed, Fissure synergy increased from 12% to 24%
      • Tornado - Cyclone Armor synergy removed, synergy damage increased from 9% to 14%
      • Armageddon - Fissure synergy removed, instead added the benefits into the skills base points, Firestorm synergy removed, Molten Boulder synergy increased from 14% to 28%
      • Hurricane - Removed Cyclone Armor synergy, instead added the benefits into the skills base points
    • Shape Shifting
      • Werewolf - now gains an increased defence stat at half the value of its attack speed stat
      • Werebear - now gains an increased hit rating stat at half the value of Werewolf’s
      • Rabies - Increased spread range
      • Fire Claws - now deals damage in a small area

      • Raven - Ravens now exist forever, Summon Grizzly removed as a synergy, reduced synergy damage from 12% to 6%, removed aidel (0.75 second delay between attacks)
      • Oak Sage - changed the health% aura to a flat life aura (30 + 15 per level) and also gained a life regen aura (1 + 0.5 per level per second)
      • Summon Spirit Wolf - Summon Dire Wolf removed as a synergy, instead added the benefits into the skills base points, Summon Grizzly synergy changed to Summon Dire Wolf, added new 10% damage synergy with Werewolf, removed aidel (0.75 second delay between attacks)
      • Summon Dire Wolf - Summon Spirit Wolf synergies removed, instead added the benefits into the skills base points, added new 10% damage synergy from Summon Spirit Wolf, removed Summon Grizzly synergy, added new 10% damage Werebear synergy, removed aidel (0.75 second delay between attacks)

Ok this horrible trash is basically diablo 3 tier nonsense. “hurr durr item drops, mob levels, reduced crafting requirements”. as if the game was not easy enough already. Of course I didn’t read the whole friggin scroll, just the first paragraph, maybe there’s meaningful stuff in there but no way I’m reading all of this.

getting boring playing the same old game from 20 years ago with the terror zones and sunder charms being the only thing new. we need some new twist for d2r or no one is gonna play this game when d4 comes out.

No. In particular, that zod zod zod zod armor is nuts.

Hahaah if only. D4 is aimed at the hyper casuals, the same as d3 was. It won’t attract the crowd that actually seeks challenge or depth.

Tho over 50% of the softcore trash crowd in D2 will probably migrate to D4, good riddance. Less “pls dont remove teleport” posts on the forums.
