Shields and armour in were form

Does your weapon, shield, armour bonuses etc confer to your were-form? If I’m always in were-form, should I bother with a shield, and magic armour?
With the slower attack and armour bonuses not transferring, the were-form seems broken.

Yes, it does. (Well, most of them do)
Increased Attack Speed IAS bonus from weapon works. However, IAS from other items such as gloves does not.

Most werewolf druids do not use shields. Werewolf Druid has much better Faster Hit Recovery breakpoints than Increased Blocking Speed breakpoints.
It is better for the Werewolf to take the hit and use the large life steal % to regain the HP back.

If you are using werewolf form, make a Steel Axe for yourself. With a Steel Axe, the werewolf will have a faster attack speed starting at level 2.
