After not touching any of the shared stash tabs since 4 days ago when I discovered that shared stash bug involving items getting magically deleted in there, I decided to randomly use the shared stash again last night by putting an item in shared stash 1 and 2. Opened up the game earlier, went into my shared stash 1 and 2 tabs, and those same items are still there. Did the devs secretly fix the shared stash bug as part of the last recent maintenance?
Nope. My stuff in the shared stash was gone again this morning. Mainly my gems, runes and gold
Sometimes the shared stash produces stuff too.
After losing my 4 runes and 2 set items, yesterday I had 5000 gold in one stash tab, and 2 runes in another.

I also filled each shared stash with gems , gear for other characters, and gold, the next day, I lost everything in the shared tabs including over 85k in gold. Is there gonna be a fix?.. I preordered the game for my ps5 and this doesnt seem worth the effort if your losing stuff all the time… it would make the use of the stash, non usable. Blizzard, Please fix this.
Yea i have been loosing sets and maybe some leg randomly from shared #3 and 4. And one Grand charm from#2. Last eve found mavs gaunts from nm baal and those were gone. Same happened to Angelic amu which was like first set i got from norm andy. Quite angry when playing offline and tho not that rare items, but you never know how long you keep missing the 1 piece of set you might want later.
Not at all, it depends on luck. Imagine if you have something very rare and it just vanishes from the stash.
I had an idea for using shared stashes, hope this would help.
You only can move the items from the “PERSONAL” tab to the “SHARED” tab when you first enter the game, after that please do not put any items into the “SHARED” stash until you enter the game for the next time. BUT YOU CAN MOVE THE ITEMS FROM THE “SHARED” STASH INTO THE “PERSONAL” TAB IF YOU WANT.
which means you only use the “PERSONAL” stash to keep your items when you playing the game and only move the items to the “SHARED” stash when entering the game.
The reason behind this is to avoid items missing.
- The items in the “PERSONAL” stash will not disappear.
- When the “reset” occurs, the items in the “SHARED” stash will either disappear or return to the previous state… Which mean your items will appear in your “PERSONAL” stash if the “reset” occurs.
- Once the items are confirmed and stay in the “SHARED” stash, they will not disappear, but if you move the items from the “SHARED” tab to the “PERSONAL” tab, the items may appear on both stashes after you re-open the game, which means duplicated, it depends on luck.
Well, judging by the replies, I’m going to continue to play it safe and not touch the shared stash tab until the first console patch. I already tagged and discussed this with @PezRadar , the Global Community Leader, and @BlizzardCS, Blizzard Customer Service on Twitter. Was told a console patch should be on its way soon. So time to play the waiting game. I’m going to continue playing offline though.
Well the patch did came today, but it seems they ddnt fix the items disappearing bug.
They did something like " * Fixed saves for offline characters that shared the same names as their online characters" but i have never even had online char but items do still disappear.

I knkw the feeling, i had 5 charms, 15 amulets, 20 rings. The next day i play an find out they are all gone. Just dont put anything in the first share stash…
