Trying to create a private game, but I keep getting a ‘An issue occurred while trying to connect to the game servers. Check that you are connected to the internet and try again’.
Internet connection is fine. Any help?

It’s been doing this ever since they shut the servers down at 1… been trying to play with my brother all day.
Fantastic, I got to play it for about an hour. Trying to do countess runs and now I can’t.

I know… I been playing on single player… but no option to increase players like on PC… it’s a total nightmare.
Yep cant join anything either for a good 15 minutes. I shouldn’t have quit my game lol

Its not just Xbox, its everyone. Diablo 3 works no problem. D2R Offline works no problem. But can’t create a new Online game in D2R anymore, again…

This is ridiculous. I pre-purchased this weeks ago and finally have time today to sit down and play on my PS5 and I can’t because of their server crap.

Well now I can’t even connect to the server guess I’ll watch some tv and try again in a little while
So how far did y’all get I got my necro to 12 looking for the hammer
I got to the staff in act 2 lvl 17… then they restarted the server and I lost my progress back to lvl 9 countess

I don’t get it… they knew how many people would be on… had a beta test to stress test the servers and still couldn’t get it right

Yea it’s not just Xbox, PS4 and PS5 servers are down as well. They know how big the game was and as said b4 had the beta test, which ran beautifully I might add, and absolutely busted launch! Servers haven’t worked for no length of time yet and it’s been less than 24hrs since launch. It seems these days, online games are getting worse and worse just so they can get launched. Do the right thing and make sure everything works the correct way before absolute launch. Never had these kinda problems back in the day. Just saying …

I play on and after quit and come back with 1 hour progress lost.
I honestly blame the impatience of gamers partly for games not working right on launch day. The players scream for it to be released asap and this is what we get all the time…imho
Try setting your region to the UK or EU… I had to put my Xbox settings location as EU but least I’m online now… Add if you play on Xbox, gammer tag is Jandarris
I think the game launch day was set by Blizz themselves.
Don’t really see any scream for it to release asap tbh.
Maybe not D2 per say but many other games get rushed
Does not appear to work on switch, sadly. I have tried all regions no luck
