I wanted to play this game on my work/gaming laptop. It works, but it’s choppy. But even my friends with high end PCs are having game problems.
Test this for yourself. In fact, a couple of the settings won’t even allow you to select below ‘high’.
Even if you put graphics on low, the menus and UI stay on the ultra setting.
This entire release is a freaking joke.
I was able to turn my graphics down. Is your graphics card program overriding the game settings?
What about pressing “G” xD
Fun fact: D2:R actually has a make up. There’s new graphics running beside old-code, so when you click “G” you change to old graphics instead of new ones, also there’s different graphics configuration to these modules on graphics menu in-game.
Well, I’m not saying that’s not bottering or the game haven’t any problems, I’m saying sometimes cause of FPS drop i press “G” and run a light version. Also, down your render scale, that should drop too much FPS upper than 100.

Shadow, particle, lighting effects change when pressing apply but I always have to restart my game before texture settings actually change.
Try setting everything to Low. Press apply. Restart game. Your settings should have taken effect.
If not the problem is most likely on your end somewhere.
