We all have been at this stage atleast once in our life. Encountering scammers. Sad to see people are already scamming during a beta where everything will be deleted.
Make trading more secure as they will cancel the trade when you pick up your item and are about to place it in the trade screen but because of this action it’ll drop on the ground and voila, it’s gone.
This is not the oldschool tradescreen where it takes up the entire screen and they prepare to pick up your items when you fail due to mechanics. Fix the trade and put a minor cooldown on it so you cannot leave the trade screen the first 30 seconds.
To be fair, some of these people are doing this while streaming, intending to send the video in with the bug report.
There’s no long term value to any of these items, maybe there are a few people looking to actually scam people, but most people are testing this to see how often it works, in order to better serve the community.
haha, had 3 people try this on me. never worked. though i agree, would be nice if something was done there. its annoying and time wasting having people try that several times on me.
Yup, and honestly let’s not vilify the people testing this scam. Not all of them actually care or want your items, many are testing and wanting to remove this stuff. For all you know, those 3 people would have given your item back and explained the bug.
