Says my account does not exist, please help

I’ve had the account for well over 10 years, now it doesn’t exist.
Is there any way I can get this looked at or am I just screwed?

D2 accounts are deleted after 90 days of inactivity I believe. So if you had the accounts going for years but let them expire, they are gone.

I recently started playing again after about 12 years off and all of my accounts were gone, so I feel your pain.

You misunderstand, I have over a decade worth of stuff because I’ve been playing. My account now doesn’t exist.

I think insidious does understand.

If you don’t keep logging in every 90 days the Diablo 2 account is purged from the servers - not just the characters. I lost everything too.

If that is the case, there is nothing that can be done.

If you were active and logging in, then be sure you remember the account name correctly and are typing it right.

I have another question related to this I think.

I bought resurrected for PS5 and have a bunch of characters there, this is linked to my battlenet account which I can open on pc, I’ve also got the authenticator app and have my phone number and email linked.

I also own d2LOD on old cd, which I converted to 26 digit keys and installed on pc, because I want to play my characters on pc with the cross progression.
I can load d2 on pc, but can’t connect to battlenet, it says my account doesn’t exist, probably for being offline for years. - I’m trying to use my phone number as my account name, is this the right thing to do? my email is too long for the input box, and I don’t think I can use my battletag as it has # in it.
Can someone help?

Hello:

You can import your D2LOD heroes in D2R and then play them in D2R… but only your D2LOD offline heroes.

Your D2LOD Battle.Net heroes, if they still exist, cannot be imported on D2R.

(of course, you still need to purchase D2R for the PC if you haven’t yet – a D2LOD license does not allow you t run D2R)
