I’m sure a lot of you have noticed at some point you are getting the same unique rings and ammys. Right now I seem to be getting a ton of nokuzan relic ammys, manald heal rings and dwarf star rings. I must have sold atleast 30 of each in the last few days… but I’ve been getting those same ones for a couple weeks or so now and I’m going insane!!!
Not saying I don’t have good luck with rings and ammys in general because I’m finally seeing less useless set rings and lately almost every set ammy I’ve identified has been a tals ammy. Got them fallin out mah pockets! Sorry I’m on single play or sell them cheap
The item generation makes me paranoid because I swear you can break dry spells by not playing for a while. Sometimes switching characters or even changing magic find up or down slightly.
None of that should work. Most likely cognitive bias. Gamblers logic at work.

Perhaps observational bias, but I’m noticing that when cold spells start I can usually break them by re-rolling maps. Similarly, if I avoid using a character in a cold spell for a day or two it seems to break it also.
Re-rolling the map has worked more times than not though.
Re-rolling the map is 100% true for Weapon and Armor stands.

I was having a really, really bad time with LK superchests, to the point where they were only dropping 4 - 5 items each—even on /players 7. Re-rolled the map a few times and now the chests are dropping 12+ items each every single time. Act 1 Pits have also been more lucrative since re-rolling.
I must say that I am extraordinarily tired of finding Wizardspikes. I think I’ve found about 11 of them in the past week.

first thing first , u will get same rings if u keep farming same place , by exemple if u farm Andariel Nightmare ( with the quest bug ) she can only drop 3 kind of ring , Nagel , manald or SOJ , so if u want a SOJ , your best chance is to farm Andariel ( i dropped 3 soj so far in two week , im actually very very lucky ) the odds are 1:33 i believe . but if you farm Baal HELL which has the highest iLVL drop , u can drop any rings in game , it all work with the item level , and the ennemy level that drop it.
There is no quest bug on console/D2R. Many streamers have proven this countless times

i have no idea to be honest , but in the last two week ive got 22 ring from andy and 3 were sojs.
First 2 now 3 lol

hahaha yeah man on old diablo 2 in 15years i never found 1 soj i had to trade for them , now i get 3 sojs in like 3 day … a bit crazy lol, and about the andy quest bug , are you 100% sure? because to be dead honest , D2R console have all the same bug that D2 has on PC before , the occulus that send u back in loading , the bug where u cant cast any abilities etc … so i believe that andy questbug still work…

I am unaware of that soj bug actually. I got mine at hell Andy and 2 bk rings from hell Andy. But I’m willing to try and see if a bug exists
Duriel has a decent drop rate for rings as well soj is one of them
It does not exist in D2R. (Unless Proven Otherwise)

When you kill an Act Boss for the first time in certain difficulties, he does a quest drop meaning he drops only unique, set, rare and magic items, gems and runes and doesn’t drop junk such as gold or bolts.”
It was part of D2 but I’ve seen zero evidence that says it occurs in D2R.

Stim literally just Google it and look for any recent articles on its out there, like 2021. Pretty sure mr lamma/drubinski/ sweetphil all those top streamer have a videos on YouTube about it as well …yes there maybe bugs in diablo but they fixed andy bug…why??? Because it benefited players of course, lololol
