Pressing R will switch the icon from run/walk but my character will not switch between walking and running yes my stamina is full. Playing sorceress.

works for me, have you tried testing it in town? (I am also playing a sorc, offline character)
I had this bug too. Also playing Sorc. I eventually took a TP, waited in town while I did a search on this bug, and in that brief period of time the issue fixed itself.
I had an EXP shrine active at the time. Don’t know if that affected things.
Not sure if this is the right place but its related to the run/walk button. When i press R in a cave it disable run but wont walk it just keeps using up all my stam.
My “R” didn’t work either, somehow I fixed it by going to custom controls, changing the bind from “R” to another unused letter, then hitting “apply”, then hitting save. Then I exited from the game. I then created a different game and looked at custom controls. I then reset the new letter for Run back to “R”, hit apply and then save custom controls. Exited from game, created new game & the R is now working ok for me. I guess resetting the custom control bindings did the trick for me.
I have some problem by pressing R will not stich run/walk on my Switch. Please fix it.
Yes - this is happening to me as well. The attempt to rectify via rebinding keys was successful temporarily.
I haven’t identified a pattern. Level 18-20 Druid and I’ve seen this in both the second and third acts (normal) so far. Was playing solo with an online character. No apparent lag or PC performance issues.
I actually happened to have something similar happen with auto gold pickup.
It seems to be an issue with the ‘CTRL’ key also being used for toggling run while pressed. If you use ‘CTRL’ + Click for selling the ‘CTRL’ sometimes gets “stuck”. Unbinding ‘CTRL’ from run seems to do the trick.
This is still very much an issue. So far, none of the suggestions have worked.
