Bought the game 2 weeks ago, tried playing everyday - horrible rubberbanding that teleports my player few steps back - happened 4 days.
1 day couldn’t even create a game, due to sever issues.
Was gonna have a nice day today playing D2R and again - rubberbanding. Talked with other folks - everyone in lobby suffering same as me… My ping is fine, my internet is fine, every other game works fine. Except D2R.
I CANNOT PLAY THE GAME I PAID FOR.
Are we just supposed to accept this? Are we have to reduce ourselves to Offline mode to have any enjoyment from this game?
I’d ask a refund but I know it won’t go anywhere… I even know this complain will go unnoticed, servers won’t get fixed and it’ll continue spoiling everyone’s fun…
I’m just venting - Blizzard is increasingly disappointing and it’s sad…

99.9% of the games have no issues running online, so that’s a load on nonsense.

The problem arose recently, previously, it happened very rarely, if ever. Blizzard just doesn’t have it under control.

When I make my own games or join games with green dot, I have zero issues.
When joining any game with other than a green dot, I do experience some rubberbanding that worsens as the dot colors change for the worse …
Until they put the servers back the way they were, where you cannot have a person playing on a different server with a character created on a different server, this issue will exist and worsen.
Either create your own game, join only green dot games, or get bot-net top put things back the way they were … your only real options.
Unfortunately, getting them to revert anything harmful/detrimental will fall upon deaf ears … first and foremost, botters must be taken care of … the rest of us suffer.

FYI, I logged into D4 today and got the same thing going on. Was in the vault city and couldn’t walk from the stash to the blacksmith without it resetting me back to the stash every few seconds. Something definitely going on on their end.
I reset my router/modem as sometimes Comcast does an update and needs re-synced, causing a similar behavior. Didn’t help so I came here and saw this thread after noticing same thing in D2. I don’t know what’s going on, but I would leave HC alone till they fix it.
Jedi must have logged into game and seen the carnage because he deleted all his posts on the matter.
