Right Click autoattack frenzy Glitch

So we all know how it goes. If lets say frenzy is on your right click and you click on a monster then you attack till monster is dead and then stop attacking, but if you click on empty ground and keep holding right click then the attack continues.
This is quite important for lets say a frenzy barb, since you move so fast you cant click on every monster (Plus I think your finger would fall off after 1 chaos run).

So with D2r it seem that there is an issue with the continued attack. Usually when clicking on the ground and holding button down you are unable to see the monster health bars which is normal, but then the attack “changes” after something happens and monster health bars show – which means if you kill that monster you stop attacking.

Ive been trying to see what causes the problem and I think its when the mouse button hovers over items on the ground or chests etc. (not clicking on them - mouse was held down on empty ground when attack was started)

This is a big problem for a frenzy barb that cannot see when you are attacking or not due to the nature of all the big monsters in chaos sanctuary. It also makes the play VERY frustrating - stopping to attack all the time while monster just pummel you.

Pretty much. Run frenzy barb in chaos once and you’ll see the problem.

It seems to happen to multi shot as well. Start on the ground, aim around, then all of the sudden a health bar will pop up and after it dies, you stop shooting.

I don’t remember it ever doing this in the past, I just figured my mouse was flaking out.

Yeah, I think its a bug that occurred as a result of changes made to how items are displayed on the ground or changes to incorporate console players.

For instance - can you remember teleport just stopping randomly when your right click hovers over a chest or item.

Makes for very Glitchy gameplay no matter the class

I have noticed this and it makes it pretty unplayable
