How did they “break” it? 
I have fire sorc, but doing meteor+fireball. Whoever cannot aim with meteor, goes the wrong way of fire wall… Ha-ha!
They keep fixing bugs. Bugs are bad math or code that should be fixed. How do you know where you’re at if there are bugs everywhere.
You could ask for future expanded server to be balanced more but asking for obvious bugs to stay because somehow you convinced yourself it would stay isn’t a good way to go.

Blizzard is such a dumb incompetent company, FW was not even op, the tick rate from FW was actually pretty balanced before patch, we think its op but compared with infy light soso it still below the dmg and u are faster with lightning. The FW before patch was only good to make hybrid builds great again and gave us so much diversity and for ppl who thinks this was OP and bla, they have absolut no clue. About the IAS Hidden BP, this is something different we saw in PVP how insane this was without WSG no chance to escape u can get namelock by these attacks easily and its totally ridiculous but FW was complete different. It was decent dmg and viable with other skills to make hybrid builds not mediocre dmg and seriously enabling throwlocking again for Paladin which makes this class even more OP (back to D2LOD), its something i cant understand. Blizzard is such a incompetent Company and their actions are the results.
Paladin is the best example for being a complete broken class and still continue to make this class more and more broken compared to the other.

Most of the LV85 areas has not magic immune, AT is peanuts if this class can farm 90% of the important areas ingame.

Natural heavy raw dmg , natural heavy defense chars
Skills which can break immunitys
This class is so overpowered and there is no sign to balance this class instead that nerf other chars and keep this class more and more OP.
No joke but this company doesnt know how to make proper balances and thats what a lot of D2 Veteran player feared of Blizzard and still speaking about, blizzard should NOT make content patches or decide to make that, cause their interactions are made with complete unacceptable actions and they have a perfect trackrecord for ripping off builds and content,
D3 another example and look on that way
In D3 they are not able to make many builds for the solo or group play high end greater rift worth it, their patch notes based on ripping and nerf this build and buff the other one and instead that keep buffing and balancing all of them to have different builds playable for endgame greater push etc.
Very lazy company and i hope we can setup in future our own private client, we have all the tools we need to fulfill for the community their wishes, the content and balancing patches.
Btw. their modding support…where is it ? does they provide tools or anything related to that ? NO
thanks to the modding team, they provide all stuff…blizzard did absolut nothing but open their mouth really big in blizzcon.

If it was knee jerk change, wouldn’t it have been “fixed” when cold mastery was?
So obviously it was not knee jerk, it was a decision they made and likely for good reason (FW overshadowed basically everything especially for such little investment…it also wasn’t functioning like it did in OG D2)

Fair, however, they further broke the ability by making it inconsistent and not hit the targets that are sitting in it. I would argue dealing 0 damage is more gamebreaking than a bit of extra damage.
