Revert Grandfather, Arkaine’s Valor & Windforce to 1.08 Versions

With Balance Patch 2.4, it would be fantastic if the developers reverted the most iconic items (The Grandfather, Arkaine’s Valor, and Windforce) back to 1.08 versions. Back 20 years ago, these items were deemed too powerful and were nerfed. However, when Grief and Enigma runewords were added, this reasoning no longer applies. The 1.08 Grandfather would be competitive with the massive life bonus, Arkaine’s Valor would compete with Enigma, and Windforce with the +35 Dexterity brings a massive bonus to damage for bowzons. Thoughts?

I would like to see some 1.08 items come back like valk wing and shako. It would be nice if there was a chance for the .08 item variant to drop. I think the grandfather would still be too weak though. It’s just too slow.

Grandfather would be a downgrade despite providing a huge chunk of life
it be better to mix old and new together for
150-250% dmg
+2-247 max dmg(2.5 max dmg per char lvl)
20 all stats
150 life
+25% Life
+100% Attack Rating
Indestructible

WF would be a minor upgrade and Arkaine while it wont compete with CoH/Nigma it would make a decent temporary +2 skills armor if back to old version…but personnaly…i would stick to viper skin over arkaine for the fcr and resists :wink:

1.08 valk wing is rather OP. For something that drops in nightmare, it comes way too close to something as rare as a jeweller’s circlets which is a best in slot item for bowazons.

You should see the 1.08 shako with 1.08 valor combination
