Resolved: Crashing whilst using a ps4 controller on PC ~Paladin Only Problem~

I have been playing non stop since release. I have an 81 Amazon and 86 Sorc, my paladin is 17, I am trying to level up a smiter. I am now running into an issue, where it did not occur on previous characters, where when I go into Sewers of act 2 or try and pick up loot I immediately DC. I have not had this issue on either previous character. Is my character bugged or is this something new? I don’t want to progress to far if its some kind of strange character bug…If I play without the controller its fine! I don’t want to use mouse and keyboard, Controller is what has renewed the game for me. I would rather not play if I cant use something that has been integrated into the game, And I need my smiter!

Update:

Unbind anything to X button if your having this issue. It solved my issue completely!

When I have the game set up to use PS4/5 buttons in UI by emulation or plugging my PS5 controller in with a cable, the minimap button doesn’t work. It started like a week ago. Only PS4/5 bug that I’ve noticed.

Set up DS4Windows if you haven’t already and set it to emulate an XBox 360 controller.

OK so issue resolved. If I remove a skill from the x button no issue is reported what so ever. Don’t map anything to X button when using a paladin!
