Reset of character stats

I am at level 29 and still haven’t been able to do a stat reset Is there something I am missing

It should be available from akara in act 1 once you complete the quests.

You get 3 stat resets that are free. One per difficulty level. To get it, you complete the Den of Evil quest then Akara will let you reset your stats/skills.

You can do it again in Nightmare and Hell. It is fine (and recommended) to save them. Once you get to Hell you can get a set of tokens off the bosses that let you do a reset again OR you can trade for them.

I strongly recommend saving them and instead planning your character before making it. Use the reset in a planned way, not for experimenting.

thank you for the info. I didn’t do a reset after completing act 1. I guess I will have to wait for the next one to show up.

You can go back to Akara and select, from the menu, “Reset Stats and Skills” (or something similar). You can actually “bank them” and swap difficulty to use the reward later in the game as well.
