Hi, I play a barbarian war cry build. and i want to make a good war cry helm with Avenger Guard helm. I see this recipe…

You can use this formula to get another chance at a Rare Item of the same type. ilvl = int(.4 * clvl) + int(.4 * ilvl) Player level matters. This formula will not work on items larger than 3x2.
So does it work if i reroll on the helm? What exacatly does “Low Quality” mean?
Can i still get the following on rolls…
+2 barb skill
+3 war cry
+3 battle orders
+3 some other skills
That’s all i really want, any other stats would be a bonus.
So is this possible using this recipe?
The 6 perfect skull rare reroll recipe reduces the ilvl of the item each time its rolled based upon the input item level and your character level, which results in lower quality attributes.

One exception for this formula are rare Diadems.
this formulae doesn’t always lower the ilvl of the item…
Let’s sepose you upgrade an item with a lvl 99 char and you upgrade low level rare item… like ilvl5. the ilvl will actually grow due to the formulae. it caps out after several retries at lvl 65 ( as it get’s rounded down at the final calculation only i guess. if clvl99 and ilvl99 the formulae will even out after several tries at ilvl66. so there are only two possible final ilvls for an clvl99 rerolling a rare item after rerolling it this way enaugh times. 65 if initial ilvl is 66> or 66 if ilvl 66=
this is enaugh to get most of the top rolls except for diadems/circlets…
What I’m more curious about is that if starting items after charsi imbue upgrade to elite version via two other cube recepies and enaugh rerolls for it to be viable would still retain it’s starting item status and could be repaired for 1 gold piece?
