Rerolling charms?

I have 3 gc and 3 sc that dropped from baal and I’ve used a LOT of pgems rerolling them, like 100s, I guess my question is have any of you rerolled any charms to be gg or even close? How many gems do you think you used?

Sure, keep trying. SOmetimes you get good charms fast,s ometimes you dont :slight_smile:

sc is a complete waste to reroll currently…poison and cold mods are too weak to bother

GC case for skill + 45 life…chance is like 1 on 500 approx…and not even guaranteed to get the desired +skill when u roll that 45 life mod

Here’s the chances of rerolling specific charms, assuming ilvl 99 charms:

Grand charms

  • 40+ life skillers (of a specific kind): 1 in 20,167
  • 40+ life skillers (any): 1 in ~1,000
  • 10 max/7% FRW (any attack rating): 1 in 24,200 (1 in 10,080 for ilvl 29)
  • 14 max (any attack rating): 1 in 48,400 (1 in 43,792 for ilvl 71)

Small charms

  • 3 max/3% FRW (any attack rating): 1 in 6,262 (1 in 2,792 for ilvl 49)
  • 20 life/17 mana: 1 in 52,181 (1 in 41,031 for ilvl 62)
  • 20 life/5 all res: 1 in 125,235 (1 in 90,675 for ilvl 61)

For most of these though (except the skillers) you want to use a lower ilvl charm for rerolling to maximise your probabilities (see ilvl references above).

Multiply the numbers above by 3 and you will get an idea of how many perfect gems are required to reroll the specified charms above. You’re barely scratching the surface.

i have done it ALOT over the last 10+ years. best i got is cold sk 21 life.

you better save those puls and cube then into an ist and trade the skiller you want

I have pretty much everything I want. I was going to sell them for high runes. The only one I have yet to find a a drop is jah and I need one more ber for infinity

so you wont miss those med runes
keep farming, use your droped gems and the med runes to get more gems to roll those Gcharms and, if lucky, shorten you way to your objective.

my best were 45/Pcomb & 44/P&B and some 30-40 skillers, let’s say a few tries less than 10 times for both of them. blessed by RNG ofc but i used my low lvl druid to rerolled GC most of the time. keep trying and GL

good question I used all my perfect gems to reroll a GC from Diablo and I actually did get an Assassin one with life, but it wasn’t traps and life was only 21 or so. I decided I’m just going to keep rerolling them. Amethyst and Ruby for crafting, Pskull for rare diadem, everything else for GC reroll. It just makes me feel like I’m putting that stuff to good use even if the chances are very slim, and I don’t have a bunch of pgems taking up room to try and sell.

I don’t focus on rerolling, but already got a few maxdmg/ar/39+hp charms.

Do you know why they cost multiple bers? Because you need, in average, the same time to collect gems & reroll such charm, as time to find that ber runes.
So, how many perfect gems do you find per ber rune? About 10000, I guess. Not 100.

i got lots of “average” skillers from rerolling. You don’t have to roll 45 lifers you know, it’s just better to use the high lvl charms to have such opportunity.

i personally had a bunch of “sad” (like shadow disciplines) >40 lifers from rerolling and 1 cold 41 lifer

I doubt it, I’ve found a few Bers and only have about 5,000 perfect gems now?

That’s a great charm for Spider-Sin. PvP guys will pay for it.

I’m on single player so just in my mules there.
