BUMP, remove the 30 day offline drm blizzard this game is being sold under a perpetual license not a subscription license.

Youre not the only one who feels scammed, i just bought the game and no where did it say I needed internet connection to play the game, I’ll be trying to contact Nintendo for a refund… this is complete bs switch is meant for the most part to be played offline outside certain features and games of course like fortnight and apex

Keep up the fight guys this Company must be held accountable for their fraudulent business practices. This game is being sold under a perpetual license not a subscription license, Therefore it has to work no matter what they just need to release physical copies of the game without Internet requirements for people that just want to play off-line single player not this temporary 30 day off-line mode crap

So this must be a Nintendo Switch only thing… as far as im aware there is no issue playing offline on playstation. At least i never have

Disconnect your PlayStation from the Internet for over a month and then try to play off-line and see what happens, you’ll be greeted with a window that says cannot authenticate product and you won’t be able to play until you connect to the Battle.net servers to authenticate the product that was sold to you under a perpetual license, it Doesn’t matter tho, they should’ve released DRM free physical copies of this game, digital only games are a scam anyways because there’s no collectors value and there’s no resell value.
