I Haven’t seen anyone talking about this. I don’t understand why we have a button to display loot on the floor yet are subject to seeing the loot text when the items drop and when we are near them.
I think it’s extremely inconvenient not being able to see my character in a room while fighting elite groups because the loot on the floor is on AUTO DISPLAY.
A simple option to turn off the auto loot display is what I’ve been hoping for, for months now. Please??
Yup. This is one of the worst things in d2r.
It’s sucks truly… and I won’t stop until it’s addressed…
Not only does the auto display of loot affect gameplay performance, but also immersion. I introduced a few friends to this game and they couldn’t get into it since they can’t even see what they are killing or doing when there is a lot of loot on the floor.
P.s. “Just move away from the loot” is a terrible compromise and would take away from the Diablo 2 experience further.
mm, never had this issue. I even play with the items always toggled on plus the big center map.
i agree, the toggle/hold should be this tho. no items should display if the toggle/hold is off/not held even when being near them.
Why hasnt this been addressed yet. I just tried playing D2R on console and the auto display when nearby is God Aweful! Please Blizzard, create a simple option in the menu to disable auto-display nearby loot.
its doubly aweful when playing zoomed in, which is the only way I can play due to my eyesight. Its an accessibility issue.
