Hello All
I’m still in first playthru but with all characters going. Like everyone else I’ve check YouTube Builds, Tips, Advice, How to Level Up this and that character…But one thing I’ve noticed is, they’ll start out say with one around Fire Damage but then about Level 26-30 advise to re-spec into either Shock or Cold…
I saw a few say after you reach a certain point Fire has a harder time dealing and sustaining damage. be it the Assassin with Fire Traps going to Shock, Sorceress going from Fire to Cold or Druid going from Fire to Wind…I’m curious as to why that is…and is it based on the character and skills, more to do with enemy types…
For instance, I just got my Assassin to Act 4…and using the Fire traps. In previous acts she handled everything fine but now I’m having to toss out more. In two seperate videos both said and advised the same thing: start with fire then re-spec into Shock Traps. Almost same with Sorceress…start with Fireball and then go to either Shock or Cold…I really don’t understand the whys…Thanks
Hi man.
Mostly hell immunes. Lots of fire and cold but also lightning and physical… so a single element build will always do bad (unless u skip stuff…cheap tactic) magic dmg is op (little immunes)
Infact untwinked playing a solo build with no acces to trade or cheap budget you just dont follow youtube builds. They are all end game with uber insane stuff.
When first playing you would always try to get as much dmg sources as possible. For that you go the hybrid road. For sorc it could be cold/fire for example 20 frozen orb 10-20 mastery rest on fire. It works well since u can spam fireball inbetween frozenorbs…so you have 2 dmg sources and with might merc u get a nice physical addition.
The best way to play this game is not looking on youtube its the journey of planning ahead. So look at your skill tree and build something hybrid and most importantly something fun you will enjoy!
Now on hell with gg gear for now lightning nd magic based dmg work great since magic has little immunes and lightning is mostly broken by conviction. Pure fire and cold suck as of now. (With sunder charms all end game dmg type will be viable)
Physical immunes are easly broken on budget with lawbringer.
