Yes refund are an option I’m sure not through battle net but
- You call your credit card company or bank and request stop payment.
- The reasoning is Battle Net is not holding up their end of our buying/purchasing agreement (keep the game playable)
- from there you get your money back the bank contacts them and they supposed mit the issues Battle net agress they suck and give the money back to the cc company.

Thank you for the heads-up. That is going to be my next action. I had hoped Blizzard’s peeps would have respectfully honoured the refund request, yet they have not nor was there an option to appeal as the appeal button sent me to a temporary restricted site page. Sigh.

You guys should read the TOS more carefully. You actually agree to the fact that downtime, possible server outages, etc. are all part of the deal.
Before you get into legal issues yourself, inform yourself properly

I did read the TOS and that what gamers are experiencing is not a reasonable level of play interruptions. What gamers are experiencing may not be reasonable at all. I am on hold with my credit card company and will post on the result. PayPal purchases may be refunded by PayPal. Good on them. Whether this call to my credit card company is a favourable result or not, Blizzard’s lack of being reasonable with their clients makes this a disheartening experience. Sigh.

nowhere in the ToS does it say “servers will constantly be unplayable and everything you’ve done up until each crash multiple times a day, per week, will not count, and all the items and levels you have gained will be gone” if it ever said that no one would play. the ToS says there will be planned server maintenance at scheduled times and that yes during those downtimes if you dont “save & exit” you will be SoL. You should read TOS more carefully and actually understand when a billion dollar company is just taking advantage of it’s dwindling fanbase in a “last hoorah” of money making before these lawsuits finish and wipe their asses with blizzard’s (our) money.

The only unfortunate side effect if you, “win,” though, is Blizzard (or whatever company you are dealing with) will blacklist you for life.
Now, that is only an issue if you care at all about possible future releases from the company and online access. If you are good hanging the jolly roger and sailing forward that way though, all good

I think that it is important to differentiate between a reasonable request for a refund and someone being malicious. Someone asking for a refund on a product does not mean that they are acting in a malicious manner. They can still love the company’s other games while pursuing a reasonable and respectful means of acquiring a refund. If Blizzard chooses to blacklist/ban a client, then that is a whole and other kettle of fish. That would add to the already terrible experiences of trying to acquire a refund.
Already got my refund, stop acting like you have an average IQ or have a clue as to what you’re talking about.

Congratz mate, enjoy your refund. If you’ve asked your CC to draw the money back, I wouldn’t be surprised if Blizzard denies you future payments through that card. Tis all I’m saying, you prick.
Why is 11 days so much for a refund? I have only 2 characters so far, a 32 lvl sorc and 23 lvl necro. And the game is unplayable…
I just put in manually for my refund after it was auto-denied. Will see how it goes. I’m done with these turds.

on steam after 2h of play you cant ask fort refund anymore for other games.
You can if theres serious issues with the game. With this game there is.
It consistently crashes for users every 20 minutes and the servers are down every day.
This is way too long for a system downtime and I was also really disappointed. Hope this helps but you can get refund thru this link → Contact Support - Blizzard Support

With enough chargebacks, they’ll put themselves in a position where payment processors either charge a premium to do business with them, or simply refuse to process payments. I’d imagine that form of pressure was more why WC3: Refunded pivoted to the refund policy they ultimately had to use.
-edit- Paypal is a great example of this. If a site doesn’t accept paypal, it’s probably because paypal isn’t interested in their bs.

I accepted I won’t be getting my money back. I have also resolved that it was the last money Blizzard will receive from me.

i saw a mod post earlier…that all game your game files and character information for your account is stored online so they definitely can return our characters. Why they are being rude and unhelpful is beyond me. Im gonna play destiny on steam, At least they rob you honestly.
