When hiring mercenaries, there are often no mercenaries that I want to hire.
The only way is to restart the game.

though technically not a bug i do second this… having to re-enter the game on nightmare several times just to get the might merc, or another one simply because there’s a pool of 6 different merc types and only 10 merc slots, causes that often time you just don’t get what you want…
Similarily with act 5 merc. As a Pole i’d only run with act 5 merc with only one specific name from their list names, i find it offensive to run with a German named merc as a Pole, it just breks immersion… so Wulfstan Erik Bors etc. type names are a no-no for my sidekick… only Bohdan fits in my book… and it’s extremely hard to roll this name for act 5 merc, especially that it’s one down the list and not often rolled, and you not only have to get the name to show up that’s like 50% of the job done, it also has to roll on the right mercenary type, and there are two of them, and usually if Bohdan rolls at all, which already is a huge luck, he only rolls as bash merc.
