I figure since I’m stuck in the queue, it wouldn’t hurt to record the experiences.
Here is what happened to me so far:

Oct. 25:
8:05 PM: start d2r, 494 in queue (asia realm)
8:15 PM: still 494
8:24 PM: 393
8:35 PM: 292
8:51 PM: 191
9:02 PM: 123
9:08 PM: 63
9:12 PM: 31
9:15 PM: automatically login as the offline mode, click online, be put in queue No.654
9:30 PM: 553
9:42 PM: 453
9:52 PM: 352
10:02 PM: 258
10:16 PM: 107
10:18 PM: 86

10:27 PM: cannot connect to server (today’s game time is up, so will update tomorrow)

Oct. 26:
8:33 PM: Start d2r, queue No.512 (asia realm)

9:34 PM: 99
9:36 PM: 77
9:43 PM: login (ONLY 70 minutes to wait in queue, and I get about 50 minutes to play, yeah)

Oct. 27:
7:21 PM: start d2r, queue at 223 (asia realm)
7:37 PM: 123
7:42 PM: 98
7:46 PM: 67
7:49 PM: 47
7:52 PM: 25
7:56 PM: automatically login the offline mode, click online and now queue No. 379
8:13 PM: 277
8:26 PM: 176

8:49 PM: login ( today spent 88 minutes waiting, but went through the queue process twice, so I guess that’s a buy one get one free discount! )
10:25 PM: disconnected. Guess Blizzard noticed that I usually turn off d2r around 10:30PM so they decide to do that for me. What a heartwarming behavior!

Oct. 28:
Zero queue time b/c I am on a business trip and don’t have time to play at all. :frowning:

Oct. 29:
7:55 PM: start d2r, 211 in queue
8:05 PM: 139
8:11 PM: 99
8:13 PM: 88
8:18 PM: 58
8:21 PM: 47
8:24 PM: 25
8:27 PM: automatically login as offline. click online now 362 in the queue. Since I don’t have that much time to play today, i guess I’ll just play offline this time.

Oct 30:
9:13 AM: start d2r, queue at 6
9:15 AM: login as offline, click online now queue at 13
9:16 AM: can not connect to the server AGAIN!!! retry for the 3rd times, queue at 10
9: 20AM: login (well it only takes 7 minutes but been put in queue 3 times, this is new)

Oct 31:
9:17 AM: starting d2r, queue at 10
9:18 AM: login as offline, click online now at 12 (hey, this has become a daily thing now!)
9:20 AM: 2
9:21 AM: login

Nov 1:
6:31 PM: start d2r, queue at 136
6:33 PM: accidentally shutdown d2r and had to restart the app, queue at 119
6:49 PM: login (lucky day. :slight_smile:
8:46 PM: disconnect from a game, but fortunately wasn’t put into the queue again.

#148 in queue an hour ago and check on it every once in a while. Down to 77 now.

I was #644, but now I am #661 ??

I am moving backwards in the queue !!!

that happens when vip accounts log in. streamers and “friends of family” accounts.

What a sickening experience. Worst part is once I finally do get to play the game I know I’ll get a connection interrupted message every 5 minutes.

Bliz got their yacht money that’s all they care about while the rest of the world got cheated into buying it.

u forgot to log the time game randomly crashes and forcing you to queue again. and… connection lost, forcing you to queue again.

just wait for the Green Mvp person to come by and tell you to stop complaining and " just queue when there’s no queue".

que position hasn’t moved for 35 minutes. dunno if it’s accurate or not but i’m stuck at 209

so my question is, why have they limited the total number of connected players on a single realm? Why have no additional realms been put up? I mean either this is the case and why the que moves so slowly or we all bought this 20 year old game and are trying to use 20 year old internet connections and computers. Back in the day you had USEAST and USWEST realms. now its just ‘US’ and you can tell that alot of the que issues is because EU players are logging into US realm because the EU realm que is worse. A month has passed and they still have not put up another realm? WHY?

I actually wouldn’t mind a que so much if it’d actually f****** move. Been at 176 for about 15 minutes now. A month into launch and I’ve managed to log in ONCE. Seriously, one time. Been a blizzard customer since Diablo and Warcraft and have never wanted a refund until this moment.

How in the world is it honestly still acceptable to have a queue??? How can blizzard be okay with this when the game has already been out for over a month? This is beyond ridiculous. What is happening to this company?
