Anyone know why and for how long?
Hopefully it’s to remove all the freaken botters, map hackers, and other assorted pieces of sub-human garbage who are p1ssing on the corpse of this dead old game…

No. And also not for how long something is going on. In true Blizzard style, there is no info here on the forum or on twitter. 
US West was down for a little over an hour this morning. I think it’s maintenance. Yesterday the game was a mess - monsters were not where they looked to be, and loot was dropping a 1/4 screen away - today though all is back to normal.
Don’t know since when, but the European realms are currently up and running.
