Real money trading is wrong

The number of people discussing “fg” on official game forum is out of control. Everyone who mentions that they participate in fg trading (I gO tHeRe tO pRiCe cHecK) should be banned.

  • you have in-game trading
  • you have reddit
  • you have discord
  • you have legit websites like traderie

No they shouldn’t be banned.
Blizzard should have made its own ingame trading platform long time ago.

 spotted. So when was the last time you traded using actually in-game currency and didn’t support bot makers and other cheaters by helping them unload their bags on you?

Your post history:

I’m just kidding. There is no alternative to jsp if you want to trade your items and get something valuable for them. Would be nice if Blizzard implemented similar ingame trading platform but this will never happen.

This is just extreme. Blizzard does nothing against that site so why should be communication about it banned?

I dont specialy like the site, but its popular amongst many players for a reason.

Using jsp as trading platform has nothing to do with how skilled are you in game.

Its Blizzard who supports bots by not taking any actions against them.
I am using Traderie as well, but jsp is way more convenient if you want to trade something quickly.

I’ve never used JSP but started using Traderie recently and was impressed by the near instant responses I’ve gotten, but I’ve mostly been on the buying end, so maybe items can sit longer if you’re on the selling side of things? Overall seemed faster/more convenient than the official forums or trade games, which are what I’ve used in the past.

You insulted me and then provided exactly zero arguments to support your claim. :man_facepalming:

Your whole post is insulting to rest of these forums. There are superior trade forums to this place, and you shat on all of them. There is no reason people should not be directed to them for a higher quality experience, your post is suggesting a complete dis-service to anyone who reads it.

OK I will bite.

  • You are correct that the default trading experience sucks and there should be better in-game trading support or official web trading platform.

  • However, by trading on the site that I don’t want to name you not only indirectly support bot farmer and other people who cheat the official game rules (and I have A TON of experience with game automation from other MMORPGs)

  • more importantly you make the game experience worse for the people who refuse to participate in “fg” trading. When I was trading high runes for the first time people didn’t want runes from me but they asked for “fg” or they wanted real money. Imagine getting valuable item for the first time and then being unable to trade it because at certain level people just don’t use runes to trade things anymore. Items that are traded for “fg” virtually disappear from the ingame economy and become untradable for most of the player base.

Side note: I got enigma and double grief first 2 weeks in ladder playing + traderie. I consider myself somewhat competent player.

Actually i don’t even know what means “Skilled” in D2.
Double spirit sorc and mef trick means skilled? Or maybe low budjet smiter(which will cost you probably Um rune) with whom you can clear “hardest” uber end-game content with 1 hand?
Like it or not D2 is all about trading and gaining wealth. So honestly jsp is just the most comfortable way of trading nothing less or more. Jsp don’t create botters and rmt traders. Traderie is more legit but jsp have it’s own pluses.

Example: I buy “fg” for real money and then use it to buy items from you. Does that make you participate in RWT or not?

well i can buy runes for real money too, for example. And trade with you on traderie. Does that make you participate in rwt or not?

So your answer is “yes” then but you are high on copium and don’t want to admit it to yourself. Got it.

There is no actual in game currency. (Zax, runes arent currency, merely popular trade items :D)

That “site” is just another trade option for players who enjoy D2. Its not against the TOS ergo, no one can be/should be banned for speaking of it, other than the lynch mob comes out.

Example 2: I pay real money to buy fg then use the fg to buy items from you and then you use the fg I paid you to pay for runes from a bot farm. Does that make you support bot farms or not?

What a beautiful economy. :hugs:

The Diablo franchise was never about skill.

RMT problems is rmt problems, jsp has nothing to do with it. If you want to spend real money in d2 you’ll probably buy items or runes on other sites cuz you don’t rly care will you spend 100$ or 120$ for it.

So imho your point is completly wrong cuz even if you do trades in some trade games you literally can trade your items for rmt paid runes.

No you have 2 separate issues there, fg and botting.

No one cares, nor can track where the fg they are trading their self found items for, came from. Its not an issue other than to the jspisbad brigade.

Botting is everywhere and more supported by discord than jsp, is your next thread going to be about banning anyone who mentions discord next? It should be.
