Hi!
Yesterday I was reading a thread about steamers and in my going through it, someone said something about re-rolling charms. Is this possible? What are the requirements? I had played D2 20yrs ago, and I always thought the Cube could only put the staff together and upgrade runes and gems. If someone could let me know, (one way or another) I would appreciate it!
Thanks!

Cube recipe: Magic item + 3 perfect gems= rerolled magic item of same item level.
Good to do with grand charms that drop from Hell Baal.
Now if we just had an easy non-hack way of seeing the item level on those items.

As long as someone is “just” lvling, the GC does not have to be originated from Hell Baal. I rerolled some extremely trash GCs into some pretty sweet ones (including 2 skillers) that helped me to become even stronger.
skulls count as normal gem, works with skulls to.
tip: use gc from nila, dia or baal (hell)
these have ilvl 90 and only with this u can have 41-45 life.
These called baalcharms, and if 41 to 45 life on it, its called a proof baalcharm.
Oh, it does? Could have sworn it didn’t. 21 years later, still learning things about the game.
Yep, you’re right. Just looked at the cube recipe table for the formula: “any, mag” “gem4,qty=3” Gem4=any gem of perfect quality, including skulls
Well, even so, save the pskulls for rolling rare Diadems!
Uniques can be upgraded to exceptional and elite. Can’t remember those recipes off the top of my head.
You should definitely make caster amulets.
Ral+magic(blue)jewel+magic(blue)amulet+P. amethyst. Save your rals and amethysts for THIS.
These and rerolls are the ones to know. Easy search.
and dont forget the socket recipes!
very handy
You can reroll any charm, the best is to get it from hell so you know it can roll +1 skill to any skill, the fact that people look for nihaltak and baal charms is that those in particular can get +1 skill + 40/45 life can’t recall now. Making them the best ones to re roll
Oh wow thanks for teh cube recipe. I’ve been needing this.
