I’ve ran Radament on Nightmare 30 times now and haven’t had him drop anything better than a magic item. Do I need a certain amount of MF before he drops anything good?
I get that getting certain drops can take a LOT of runs. Is it my MF or the simple fact that I just haven’t completed enough runs?
Edit: My MF is 149.
well im not sure why you are running in just nightmare and Im not sure why you arent running a boss.Places like the sewers and the pits etc in hell mode are hard grinds for items.You need speed for places like the sewers and pits cause the drop rate basically sucks and clear speed is your friend.Your best bet is to run hell mode bosses.As for MF the sweet spot is around 250-300.thats just a good amount and you dont weaken your player adding a bunch of weak items for extra mf.If you cant run hell bosses Ill give you items so you can effectively run hell mode.As for the certain drops your talking about theres very few items worth sitting there grinding the pits and sewers for in hell.Places like durance level 3 where mephisto is can drop jah runes from the council members cause thats where I found my first one.just whatever player you use I will be able to hook ya up with items
I’d say getting anything useful at all may take a LOT of runs. That’s the nature of RNG. But yeah follow what Vodoo said.
I’m not that far along yet. I haven’t even completed act II on Nightmare. That’s why I’m grinding it. As for why. I was looking at Rankedboost website and there are items I’d like for my character that, according to them, have the highest chance of drop from Radament.

If you cant beat mephisto hell, run baal normal for loot. Radament is trash.
Ill hook ya up with items tho for hell farming.I know people are like “but the fun is in grinding” yeah true but it sucks if you cant grind at all or its extremely slow.As for finding items you would be way better off farming an easy boss like andy in nm, shes actually really weak in hell too and drops shakos and stuff

Again, I never said Radament would be a good place. As I stated before, only reason I was doing it was because of the loot items I wanted were said to be best dropped by him by Rankedboost.

You’d be better served running normal pindles. Best would be to run NM meph if you can. Second best would be NM Andy.
Here are the chances for nightmare. A teleporter can kill meph every 30 seconds to 1 minute. Baal takes at least 3-4. So your best bet, if you can tele, is meph. However, HELL meph’s odds are 1:1795, so it’s always recommended to get to hell meph asap and without spending much time on anything other than what’s necessary in gearing before that. Also why it’s insurmountably recommended that one starts with a sorc. That said, here’s nightmare’s odds on Arreat’s Face (all with 0 magic find).

My sorceress is hybrid lightning+some fire, level 86, has 250+ MF, very low resists and everything else, and comfortably circuits Countess, Eldritch, Pindle, Shenk, Thresh. I would not MF with another class unless I had Enigma. May be Cows with warrior find item but it takes so long. Oh, and the summoner, although I hate getting it wrong.
