I have been sitting at #136 in queue for like 30 minutes, hasn’t moved one spot… am I actually in the queue or??

This is a common issue. Trust me if you stay in queue you will eventually get into game. The queue is very wonky they are trying to improve it while they figure out the server issues to get people in faster.
And I thought the “New World” queue was embarrassing.
I closed, ended Battle Net process, relaunched and I somehow was lower in the queue …
started at 275 at 9am, im at 129 by 1030 am
Same thing is happening on my end. I’ve been at 175 for 30+mins.
It’s ridiculous how many problems this launch has had lol.

Welp, screw this. I have things to do. Opened a troll ticket out of boredom. I suggest everyone do the same.
You may notice the major drops in queue are at times that end in :00. That is because it is doing idle drops every hour. I would love to know what criteria their listener follows to boot an idle player. Like, what constitutes as idle according to their listener?
The largest issue with gaming right now and technology in general is ‘Automation’. Everything can be scripted. You can design event listeners to trigger specific actions. In some cases, Dev Companies have been able to slash their moderation team because of these systems.
They have error and bug check listeners doing this actively already. The less people involved in the games, the more inhuman of a response we will receive.
This is hard to do when your DEV team are all a bunch of potatoes.

we complain about queue every day every week, and still blizzard cant do a effin about it.

The servers are going to continue to get overwhelmed this weekend. I won’t be surprised if we all get an hour of actual play time.
