Questions about PC + Switch D2R

Hi,
I have D2R for PC and I am thinking of buying it for Nintendo switch as well.
I have some questions if you can help me.

When it comes to online (Ladder, Nonladder), will I be able to have access to the same characters and gear of my account ?
Meaning will I be able to farm for example with a character when I am not home, and then logging with my PC and get the items I found?

Can I create a different account in Switch and use my PC account to join the same game? (Probably not)

Using the same account, can I login to a game in Switch with a character and at the same time login to a different game with a different character in PC, with the same account of course? (Probably not)

Thanks

When you have a console copy, you have 2 options.

  1. Link to same bnet account as PC to your nintendo account. 100% cross progression, so you can freely swap between the devices. But can’t login to both at the same time.

  2. Create completely new bnet account to play on switch. However, switch and PC can’t play in the same lobbies (no cross-platform).

Thanks for the replies

Unfortunately you can’t do this. I tried, to compare the look of the game on steam deck (Pc) compared to switch.
If you log in on one, it kicks you out on the other.

But yes, the same online characters are available to both devices

Do not get a switch please. You will thank me later.
30 fps, laggy servers (connects to wrong servers that are far away from you), max 4 people.

Instead buy a handheld PC. I got the asus rog ally extreme. On the expensive side but at least you get a computer

I meaaaaaan yea it’s wonky I agree, BUT if you have to travel long times like a 3+ hour trainride f.e and you have a internet hotspot, you can play your ladder char or at a friends house.
