Question: Superior royal shield

I found a superior royal shield with 209 def, 114 attack rating, 55 enhanced dmg, 15% enhanced def and 13% max durability…is this useful for anything or does it need to have resistances to be worth anything?

That is a decent zealer base.

That is a lower level shield though , you want ST , SR, Kurast , one of the elite shields.

Usually people find ones with Res for smiters but this is what I would use if I was making zeal for the enhanced damage and attack rating.

Also if you already have the RES than thisbis the obvious choice.
