Does the NM mercs auras change when they enter hell? I have a NM Might merc, but when I enter hell the tool tip changes to Blessed Aim. I read that is was the same aura and only the tooltip is incorrect, but when he engages I don’t see a damage increase on my character stats. My fire wall is 18K before the merc engages, 18K after and 18K with no merc… Can anyone clarify please.

No, the Aura is static for the merc once you buy it. However, there is a bug where the aura can suddenly become a different aura, but its not intended.
The aura is tied to the difficulty of the game when you buy the merc. It doesn’t change when you change the difficulty. Act II mercs have different auras depending whether you buy them in normal, nm or hell.
I’m not 100% sure but Might aura shouldn’t even affect spells such as Fire Wall. It only boosts physical damage. You might want to change to Holy Freeze merc if you play with a sorceress.
