Slowly but surely upgrading my tesla build but torn on what to spend it on.
Primarily play Zon and Pally and the zon is out of commission (kill speed was too slow).
I wanted to upgrade the Merc to see if playstyle will be different. Current setup is ETH fort with ral’d andys and a CV Insight. Never running out of mana is great, but going from zeal to tesla zealer the attack speed was much slower.
The question is should i reach for infinty and use fanaticm on my pally or will it be better to use faith bow on act 1 merc and conviction myself.
Concerns are that conviction lvl 12 will be too low for the dream build yet gain beter kill speed with zeal and fanat. But lower than lvl 25 conviction might make the dream build useless after norm.
Fath would be nice but playstyle will drastically change since I will no longer be able to tele directly in the middle of a pack with a squishy act 1 merc but mantain the same resist break and faster ias. This might also be better since I do have a zon and can play around with it that way.
But Infinity holds better value (with decent roll) currently but also costs more…

I’d go faith with act1 merc. If you don’t like it, you can give it to your zon or sell it to me low low.
Faith might hold value, after the patch.

It depends on your weapon - if you have a phaseblade its not hard to reach breakpoints to max zeal attack speed, which frees up your merc to do whatever you want. If its a zerk axe though, prob fanaticism is better. I really do like the conviction aura on my dream pally, I personally wouldn’t want to run a different aura.
time to look for a 4os gmb 
You won’t be able to use it for at least 3 months once the patch hits anyway. Otherwise just roll a faith in one of the non-amazon bows available (I have a few 15ed 4os ones available if you need).
I run my Tesladin with max conviction and gave faith to me a1 merc (along with Dragon armor for added dps via hydras).
Are you using Grief PB + Fortitude Armor? If so, definitely Faith A1 over Infinity A2.
If you’re primary mobility is not tele from Enigma, relying on the conviction aura of an Infinity merc is a PIA. Charge mobility means your merc is constantly lagging behind and the conviction aura from Infinity won’t be applying until you’re nearly done killing each pack. The majority of your damage comes from lightning between the aura AOE and the +lightning to attack. Having conviction aura on your pally toon makes your primary damage source that much more effective instead of reliant on your merc pathing.
yea rather make the faith in a gmb now rather than wasting a jah on my 14ed great bow and having it worthless once the new patch comes out. This way I can have fun with the zon and use it on my act1 merc until ladder ends and the build becomes even more op lol. At least thats what im hoping with the skills bonuses being utiliezed by the mercs.
Your merc basically do no dmg no matter what, she’s just there to provide the aura.
