QOL suggestion concerning refresh inventory and vendors

You can refresh the inventory of vendors who let you gamble. This might be more controversial or difficult to implement but i’d love for this to be available for all vendors - even if it was only allowed if you were the only one in town or in the game so you couldn’t prevent others from buying whats offered.

I sometimes spend way too long at a vendor and i have to move in and out of town to refresh - it would be a huge benefit.

Not gonna lie, I was thinking that today when playing lol. If you are going to put it on the gamblers, may as well put it on all vendors tbh.

Not like Blizz is getting paid a subscription fee to have us waste our time running in and out of town to reroll the inventory slots. This would be a cool one.

I guess my question would be, are there any downsides? Might be some if in a party maybe.

This would be a wonderful QoL change

Do merchants not reset inventory until ALL players in a multiplayer game have left said town? may be harder to implement than simply asking for a new gamble.

Personally I like that its hard to find that 2 socket superior weapon or armor etc. Sitting there and just refreshing until the best thing pops up seems… silly, it’s like saying it should just be there to begin with. At least with the gambling you don’t know what your buying before you buy it.

I’ll admit, I don’t like running in and out of town either, but this seems like it could be a little too much hand holding perhaps?

Correct, but you can just make a private game if you want to shop-refresh

Unfortunately it’s still the fastest way to get some good early bases, like stuff for White, Leaf, or the teleport staff from Act 3. It’s mind-numbing.

I can’t argue with you there, definitely a mind-numbing quality to the process
finally learning that there was a teleport staff, and that charges could be repaired was a great day.

i usually exit and open a vendor pretty often too to get a good leaf base in act 2 (if i’am a sorceress)

or to get a decent paladin mace (good dps / % damage undead , nice to start imo and cheap if no paladin skill on it) just before or after the den of evil if i’am a melee.

i do agree that it would be cool.
