Normally I am using my lighting sorc do this. I have a decent LF zon which can kill diablo just a couple of charged strike. Just wondering if anyone do the dclone by using this char since I am bored on shuffling items ? And how about uber?
Yeah… few pokes here and there with CS - and DClone is melted 
Prolly not so straight forward for ubers… but i’ve never tried.
Ate all my potions and even died once accidentally before I killed him. Weak A1 merc though. 100% would do it again lol
I killed him on poison necro so…I think anything can kill him

How long did that take? 
Maybe a half minute to minute, my merc and skellies were doing the dmg, I was there just to stop the regen
Just finished my first LF zon Bal run. Just a few pokes and Bal fall. Much much faster than my other classes.
I’m using my Javazon to do DClone and I don’t have good gear. Takes a full belt of full rejuv each time but totally possible, yet slow
I don’t use LF though, except to clear mobs around DC. CS all the way, plus Plaque Jav once every few seconds. I maxed CS, LF, LS and Valk; using non eth titan, merc using an eth obedience; I do have anni and torch though
Javazon kills so fast! One or two throw and Pindleskin’s army all melted. I used to do this by using hammerdin, take a while, mainly on adjusting my position to make sure the hammer can hit them.
I think Infinity might be a optimal choice in order to break light immune for this build.
The resistance is a problem for my build…
I think make a spearzon will kill uber faster.
I think what makes DC much slower is the 95% light res, so I actually wonder if I should try T-stroke next time: if my CS gets only 5% dmg, T-stroke would make it 20% thus 4X
Infinity definitely would help more, even the lowest roll would -130%, making it 27X if my math is right
For my Javazon’s res, I just pile up some crappy res charms for DC; you just need 1x1 inventory space to pick up the loot

T-stroke kill him in about 20s, or buy a lower resist to kill him.

Only thing you benefit from when placing Infinity on Mercenary is the Conviction Aura(level 12 = -85% Resistance or -17% when breaking immunities). The -Enemy Lightning Resistance on Infinity only applies to the holder of the runeword, not to anyone else. So what you’ll want as a Javazon is Griffons(if you’re that lucky…) or gear with -Enemy Light Resistance. T-Strokes are another example of this but they don’t replenish quantity like Titans.
Oh and Charged Strike(CS) is way better than Lightning Fury on Bosses.
I hit a brick wall w/ solo Uber Tristram fitted w/ a griffon/infinity/tstroke. It could very well be possible w/ some better stats but I couldn’t make a dent. Dclone different story, melted like butter

Thanks for the evidences! Have you tried the new spearzon (zon holding infinity, not merc) with uber? The dmg should be good, I guess, but am not sure about the survivability compared to smiter. If it works for uber, then it seems so attractive that it can also farm efficiently

lvl 36 charge strike can kill him less than 20 second
Could you post / link your gear / setup. I’m building a spearzon myself and your clips look awesome.
Couldn’t believe how fast my Java killed dclone. Hadn’t tried it with her yet, was expecting to need a bunch of full rejuvs, he died in like 5 hits and it was kinda anticlimactic. Figure with an infinity spear on me rather than on my merc, it’d go even faster.
