PTR Feedback - Lackluster Sets Not Viable

Blizzard, before you close up shop, please buff the three lackluster sets shown below as they are generally underused by players. These sets were left in the cold and received no set item bonus changes during the PTR. Thanks for consideration!

Heaven’s Brethren

  • Add +100% Enhanced Defense (3 Items)
  • Add +20% Crushing Blow (Full Set)
    • Heaven’s Brethren is designed as a defensive set, although the damage is fairly low, and the clvl requirement of the shield is very high. Overall the set needs buffs to get some semblance of usefulness. The proposed changes adds enhanced defense with 3 items and crushing blow for full set.

Isenhart’s Armory

  • Add +50% Enhanced Damage (3 Items)
  • Add +1 To All Skills (Full Set)
    • The Isenhart’s Armory does not have enough damage for any melee character and the lack of plus skills means this set isn’t effective for very long. The proposed changes adds enhanced damage for three items and +1 to all skills for full set.

Berserker’s Arsenal

  • Add +20% Increased Attack Speed (2 Items)
  • Add +10% Deadly Strike (Full Set)
    • The Berserker’s Arsenal is mediocre when compared to other class-themed sets, offering +1 to all skills, and axe is slow and deals poor damage. The proposed changes adds increased attack speed with two items and deadly strike for full set.

These are pretty rare items to find (well not the armor) and this set has been voted the most useless multiple times. How about making it one of the best and make it a path for people who want to create an integer damage reduction build. Sets as they are now are pretty much unusable. These items take all the runeword slots so they need to be pretty exceptional to make them worth using over runewords.

10/10 post with supporting screenshots. I agree with all these changes

I think the clvl requirement of the shield is very high and should be reduced by adding something like -20% to requirements.

The strength requirement on the shield is way to high for it too be useful. But more than that, the majority of the mods on the set are useless. How many elite set items aren’t an automatic Charsi after the first week? The Barb and Sorceress sets. Maybe BK set, though i have already left them on the ground because they aren’t worth picking up. Gface and Laying of Hands. Aldur’s boots. Naj’s stuff early one. The boots from the Sin set. The necro set if you don’t care about fcr. The vast majority of these items aren’t worth the stash space after about day 3. There needs to endgame items that don’t have runewords in the them. With the proposed ladder being 4 months it is going to be very hard to put these sets together if they have some value. I just wish they had some value.

I’m glad Blizzard is buffing the sets and slowly moving in the direction of being viable.

Blizzard, please buff the sets above before you close up shop, they are currently garbage and will be underused by players. They have such beautiful artwork, its a shame its put to waste. Thanks for consideration!
