Dear Team!

Sorry for the delay, I have been held up at work. Here are my two cents:

Bulwark: love this. High usability, offers a lot of use until endgame for an adequate price.

Other helms: while I generally like the idea of the variation and get the synergy with the sunder charms, I feel these runewords overpriced as Io requires Nightmare farming. Considering that there are so many other options (OrtSol, peasant crown, Vampire, rockstopper) I feel that Either the Io should be reduced to another Rune available on normal difficulty, or all those helms should be buffed (proposal: +10-20 faster cast rate or/and +1 Skill). FCR is currently unavailable for helms (to craft) so this could justify Io and also ensure viability throughout hell. +1 Skill is acceptable as OrtSol offers that way cheaper (without the fcr). Still doesn’t beat a crafted Circlet or a Harle, but that is okay and a trade off.

Hustle: fun to play the first minute, but the Test Char should tear through nightmare like nothing (with the costs of the runes and knowing what equally expensive gear offers). So a Bit disappointing. Probably fun for speed runners that get that rune drop, other than that hardly viable.

Mosaic: hardly ever Play Assassin so I lack competence for qualified feedback

Metamorphosis: fun to watch, nice alteration of game mechanics (sorta D4 style), but I hardly ever play Druid, so my feedback is limited. My impression was that on P1 this should enable a Druid to tear through his enemies, but that was not the case

The helm runewords are pretty good in my opinion. I think the Fire and Lightning ones are great to get people through hard spots on the game (making your merc able to survive Travincal, and having an affordable source of Lightning Absorb for Gloams and Uber Mephisto, for example), but the poison and cold helms are not as useful. I think that those should be buffed a bit, like giving “cannot be frozen” or “Half freeze duration” on the cold helmet, and a lvl 1 Cleansing Aura when equipped instead of the -75% poison duration on the Poison helmet

To make resists helms more useful, I hope to see some changes such as:

  • Cure - cleansing aura when equipped
  • Hearth - cannot be frozen
  • Temper - % gold find
  • Ground - CtC nova when struck
