once you understand how to read your starting location ( the entrance tile)
you know where way the exit tile will face

the key takeaways;
from the way point:
countess is to the left ( i dont have tips on finding tower)
andy to the right (well, wp to lvl 3 is right, lvl 3 to lvl 4 is sadly random)
mephy to the left
nith is always opposite a champion pack and has a static map from from wp
baal is always to the right
arcane is random, deal with it
this is tiles… sometimes 3 rights make a left… but its still right… this is most noticeble in countess area
some other tips.
the stones in stony field are always by the path
you don’t need to go running around blind AND YOU DON’T NEED TO CHEAT, spend the time to learn this and drastically speed up your farming.
The key is to remember a few important maps in BOLD (My opinion) Act 1 Tower Andy
Maggot (Optional)
Act 3 (Optional) Mephisto
Crystalline / Arreat (anicents) / Frozen (Anya) - Optional Nihlathak Baal
some ppl mastered this technique so well that throne portal is up before i’m done loading in the game even tho i joined as soon as physically possible ctrl-v ing the title ahead of time.
People are just lazy and cheaters will always cheat. Yes there are patterns you can use to help find things faster but honestly with the exception of Mephisto’s hell map, the rest of the maps are small enough it really shouldn’t take much to find where you need to go, patterns or no patterns.
Some people just can’t be bothered to use their brain and will continue to use hacks and then come cry on the forum how being banned for maphack is unfair or that “they didn’t cheat”.
i mean considering the loading screen between levels… and waypoints… unless they have a crazy fast computer and are lucky no they porbably have maphack, it normally takes about 15-30 seconds to get a throne tp up, ( at least with my loading screens)
im sure someone with a fast computer could get throne up in 10-15 seconds consistently … but i dont think many actual players will be at that. and most players can join a new game before 10 seconds
i will say in lod without loading screen 10 seconds was easily doable without maphack
telling if someone has a bot is pretty easy though
and yeah finding level 4 is random, but hey, cant have everything
