Was in a Cbaal game and dinged 80. Went to equip arachs and boom died. Had the arachs with the cursor so it goes to the ground. By the fact that I’m making this post, you can guess I never saw it again.
for some reason there are a lot more ways to accidentally drop your items now. in resurrected graphics, when using the stash if you have an item on your pointer and you click the wrong place in the stash it actually throws your item on the ground now which really sucks. it’s in completely random places in the stash. before that used to just be considered a misclick or a non-action and it wouldn’t throw your item on the ground. it especially happens in the stash tabs area. try it in a private game, if you have an item on your pointer and need to switch tabs for where you want to store it, at random times it will just throw your item onto the ground instead of switching tabs or doing nothing at all
I will never understand how people take every opportunity to steal other peoples stuff.

Ya people tend to steal all sorts of things. When I was rushing lately the lowbies doing no damage were diving into mobs to grab items I was clearing for. I immediately stopped rushing after I saw that as there was no point. I don’t think people understand that if you rush you are wasting your time unless you get the drops. They sit there doing nothing and even take your full rejuvs that you need to continue clearing.
Im not suprised at the behavior though to take your already identified arach. Players have no shame. If you find an honest player add them to friends though they are few and far between. Greed blinds them just like it does IRL.

The crazy part was that someone, presumably the person that snatched it up, started talking smack to me when I asked if whoever took it would give it back. Don’t get it.
