I would like to see the same option on the PC version available for the PS5 version which is the infinite reset skill option for offline play.
Unlimited respecs is not an option on any client, console or PC.
The only place I remember seeing unlimited respec was in plugY and D3.
First thing that google reads when searching for infinite respec option for pc.
1. Offline Mode (Infinite Respecs)
You can enable unlimited, free respecs in the PC version for offline characters using a special command-line argument:
-
How to enable: In the Battle.net launcher, go to the Settings (gear icon) next to the âPlayâ button for D2R, select âGame Settingsâ check âAdditional command line argumentsâ and type -enablerespec.
-
How to use: Once in the game, open your character stat screenhold ALT, and left-click the red â+â sign next to your stats. This resets both skills and stats for free, anytime.
Just because there is no technical button to toggle this feature on/off does not negate the fact that it is an option for pc users where its never an option for console users.
There are also you tube videos about it by known D2R players like Sweet Phil or Raxxanterax. You should check them.
Your option on console would be a Token of Absolution.
How to get a Token of Absolution
You craft it by combining four boss essences in the Horadric Cube. All four only drop in Hell difficulty.
- Twisted Essence of Suffering â drops from Andariel or Duriel
- Charged Essence of Hatred â drops from Mephisto
- Burning Essence of Terror â drops from Diablo
- Festering Essence of Destruction â drops from Baal
Put all four in the cube and hit transmute. Thatâs it.
If you actually took the time to read the original post it clearly says âinfinite reset skill option for offlineâ and not âsingle reset skill optionâ.
But thank you for pointing out what every single D2R player already knows what to do to get a SINGLE skill reset, that really helped on this post about INFINITE skill resets.
Youâre a sassy little one arenât you. ![]()
Zero sass here.
I am pointing out actually facts and calling you out specifically because you are on here arguing with anyone and everyone. Anyone that reads this can easily go read any of your other posts and see that clear as day.
I get that you have obvious anger over what you think Blizzard is doing but to take it out on other people on here is wrong. Being so argumentative and full of assumptions and accusations is wrong. Perhaps that works for you but honestly it makes you very unappealing.
I am here to have constructive conversations with people and share ideas/thoughts instead of fact checking people like you who just want to argue. Tip, it helps if you fully read and understand the post topic before replying to people on here. I am certain you will find yourself posting less as majority of your posts are combative.
Every post you make is how you want D2R to be something else itâs exhausting, go play something easier and be happy.
You are so out of touch I need to fact check you again DnD20.
Anyone reading this please go see any of my other posts.
One was saying where are the PS5 trophies for the new expansion. The second was about the hypocrisy in Llamaâs video of complaining. The last was about how the PS5 should get the same option to have infinite skill respec like the PC. None of these posts want to change the core base of the game in any way shape or form.
You are comical. Really, comical.
you can literally respec as much as you want
With tokens of absolution yes, my post is about the infinite option to respec like you can on the pc version.
