Just started playing on my new ps5 and I cant play more then 5 min before the game crashes. it seems to happen when I interact with an object, I tried remapping it but it doesn’t seem to help. tried reinstalling and it didn’t help either. I don’t see any discussion on this bug, and there is no way to submit a ticket for the PS5 version of the game.
is there a known fix for this or am I just screwed.
I’ve been playing on ps5 since the game was released and only had one crash unrelated to what you’re experiencing. I remember ps4 used to prompt sending a log file anytime a game crashed but don’t know if the same feature exists on ps5.
It does, I’ve reported it 4 or 5 times with no response or change.
I also been playing with online characters on PS5 since release and the game maybe crashed on me twice in total. Are you playing online or offline ? When it crashes, does only the game crashes or the whole console crashes ?
If your game is updated to the latest version and it’s still happening, i would be worried about the PS5 itself. You mentionned your ps5 is new, did you tried playing other games for an extended period of time ?

I played offline, I cant play online because any name I try is inappropriate" so I can’t even make a character.
I have played other games, Crash team racing, Spyro, boarderlands , Ghost of Tsushima, and GoW all work fine. It’s just diablo 2 that crashes whenever I interact with something. I tried unbinding the interaction key, but the bug persists.
I don’t think it’s the PlayStation. It’s fully updated, I’m currently playing on the PS5 version of D2.
For some time i got strange video and sound glitches wen playing any game and the console turned of after minute or two if i didnt restart it. After updating the console firmware, the glitches disappeared. Maybe you need to check for console updates? My console is relatively new PS5 as well.
P.S. the glitches was very random. Some times started almost immediately after the game started, some time after few hours. No mater the game.
Don’t know if it will work try changing gameplay to performance from quality it plays better in performance it plays 60 fps instead of 30fps when i played in quality mode the screen looked blury performance looks smooth don’t hurt to try have no problems
