Problem with skill allocations after Akara resets them

Hi, I am new to Diablo

My character is a Druid at level 35.
I reset the skills with Akara,
then I assigned one point each from Arctic Blast to Hurricane,
After that I would like to add max points to Tornado, but I can’t add more than 15 points.

Probably before the skill reset, Tornado was at level 15.
17 points remain to be allocated

Is this normal or is it some kind of bug?

You should get all your skill and stat quest back after respecing your character. I’ve tested this multiple time and still kept my quest rewards. Either Akara and Token should do the exact thing.

you can only add skill points into a skill equal to the amount your level is over the level the skill can be acquired

aka if its a lvl 1 skill you cant add 20 points until your lvl 20
if its a lvl 6 skill u cant add 20 points until lvl 26

a lvl 30 skill at lvl 42 you can only sink 12 points into. because you’re only 12 levels over that skil lvl you unlock it even if u reset and have 42 points plus skill quests

however many levels you are over the level you unlock said skill is the limit of how many hard points you can add to it ( capped at 20 hard points obviously)

That’s why:
aka if its a lvl 1 skill you cant add 20 points until your lvl 20
20-1=19
if its a lvl 6 skill u cant add 20 points until lvl 26

Actually, you can only add 12 points. You seem to have +3 skills equipped.

Yes, wonderful. That would be correct then with the +3 skills.
