Hello,
I’ve got a very reproducible issue where it shows I need to talk to Malah for my reward and when I do, she has two dialog parts. Then they just repeat. I can’t get her to trade. Anya and her portal are both still down in town. I’ve completed all other Act 5 quests in this difficulty mode.
My inventory has plenty of room, I’ve remade the game and re-completed the quest.
I’m not sure what else to do, but it has rendered this NPC (Malah) useless across games.
make sure to have a free 2x2 space in your inventory for the scroll she gives
Yeah, it suddenly stopped.
I also found, if I kept pressing the ‘P’ key (possibly other keys) instead of a mouse click - the menu with the “Trade” option. So I found a workaround eventually.
yeah my char is in a5 NM. I made a normal game to go run the Anya quest for the rest. got potion, went and thawed her out, went back to Mala, killed Nihlathak, etc… got Quest Completed. at no point did I get the Resistance scroll from Malah. feel like I got ripped off. that’s -10 Resistance All I’m missing out on
Same issue here, except Malah lets me talk/trade/cancel.
In my case I was playing with a couple friends. The carry friend completed the quest up until talking to Malah for the reward. My other friend talked to Malah first for the scroll. When I talked to her she did the reward dialogue but never gave the scroll. Plenty of inventory available during whole session. My friend got the scroll. Anya gave both of us the item reward & nothing wrong with Betrayer of Harrogath quest. Every time I talk to Malah she repeats the one reward dialogue, never gives the scroll, but allows me to talk/trade/cancel. Pls fix. I need all the help I can get in Hell.
Will this bug be fixed? Or those who hit this just have to listen to Malah repeating same dialogue every time visiting her?
