Prison of Ice: Scroll of Resistance

I was using the Token of Absolution to reset my stats, I noticed in Hell difficulty, my resistances were -80% for all 4 elements. This red-flagged me so I went to check with Normal and Nightmare difficulties and the Prison of Ice quest were all completed including in Hell. Is there a way to fix this? Below is what I’ve tried so far…

  • Help other people that are in need of completing this quest (Normal, Nightmare and Hell) to see if I would receive the Scroll of Resistance upon completion as well; however, this method did not work.
  • Visit Frozen River to see if Anya would still be there; however, this method did not work.
  • Create a new character and see if I could move the Scroll from the new character to my Sorceress; however, this, obviously, did not work.

Has anyone had the same problem as me? Or has anyone dealt with this similar issue in the past? How could I fix this? Is there a fix?

Did you try dying? (Assuming non HC oc, mind you I’m sure it was “fix” the issue in HC as well :P)
Did you try respecing again.

All I got.

Was this on a PTR character? The pre-leveled ones tend to have this oversight when they are created… I don’t think there is a way around it.

-80 is what you would have for resistances if all you had done is Normal and Nightmare for the Ice Prison quests. Hell is -100 resist all and that quest is +10 resist all. 10 + 20 = 20. 100 - 20 = 80.

yes, i did try respecing.
not PTR.
and please check your math. 10+20 is 30 and 100 - 30 is 70.
