i found this rare claw and claws always give me a headache in pricing.
i know blues can potentially be the best but I want to know if it’s charsie stuff, pul-mal stuff (most likely) or HR stuff lul. I’m really having a hard time.
the noticable stats are:
greater talons
+2 sin skills
+2 DS
+3 LS
+20% attackspeed
I have no idea what claws are worth, I am making my first trapsin.
I can offer 2 fal and 2 ko, or if you need specific items in that area. Wizzy, monarchs, that sort of thing.
I got plenty of offers in 3 hours (between pul and vexist up to ber…). nobody seems to know a vague value to be quite honest.
most people just play the game, same as I usually am…
greater talons and the ias likely is the best weapon for reaching certain breakpoints while still having low str and dex requirements.
I almost have even less of a clue now to be quite honest…
an Ist+ value seems reasonable since blue claws with +6 LS with 2os should be the most sought after.
maybe some experienced guy here can come to a conclusion on that topic.
Your claws are trap claws, nobody building trapsin is gonna be attacking anything at that level, so the ias seems useless to me. I would pay the same for those claws with or without the ias. They are nice trap claws though, if someone offered a ber for them, go for it. Sadly for me, that prices it well out of my range.
Would like to mention ias is actually quite important for trapsins since trap laying speed is based on attack speed and not fcr. So just like other attack dmg skills based on ias and eias trap speed is similar.
Getting back to the claws not sure the value but would imagine at least HR+. Especially as the dueling community grows in d2r these will actually become MUCH more valuable. The main reason ppl pay for claws like these is for dueling
Is this true? If so, that would increase the claws’ value a lot more than I originally thought. Like I said earlier, I am making my first trapsin, so I know nothing about them.
These are difficult to price because only a certain niche are into these claws and know it’s true value. These are on the right path to being perfect trapsin claws. If it had 3+ ds 3+ ls with 40 ias and 2 sockets it would essentially be priceless. Trap laying requires ias and not fcr and all the plus skills help alot. This would be nearly the equivalent to a 5+ tornado helm for a druid or 5+ blizz orb. If you ever plan to sell this I will offer far more than just an ist but tbh I wouldnt know how to price these myself. Although not the perfect trapsin claws it is like 65 percent away from being what would be absolutely perfect although this would be perfect for most people that play sin. I would do more research the right buyer will pay but please consider me as a potential buyer. I dont have the current resources to reach a ber in trade value but I sure as hell will try lol. It’s the ias and the plus skills. Basically you want the highest ias possible with highest plus skill on lightning sentry and its synergies. Blue claws can achieve the potential maximum while rares can come close.
thanks for your offer and insight. also to all the other ones giving some advice.
and sorry I couldn’t consider you, I was already in a trading discussion with the final buyer while seeing your post.
I probably still made a mistake by selling it too fast but I sold it for 11 Ists. So it was HR value indeed
the buyer also showed me some reference forum posts with similar weapons. So it seemed like a fair trade to me which is always my main concern.
same weapon with 30 ias and without +2 DS was going for 10 ists.
most likely couldve gotten a bit more if I waited longer but I imagine it’s not Ber+ value since therefore it’s too far from being perfect.
Never couldve imagined that. It dropped on day 2 of D2R and was polluting my stash space ever since (that’s what I thought it was). So that’s infinitely better than throwing away in a free game to me.
Np. Only hope the dude doesnt resell it and is actually intending to use it for his sin because to me it certainly is worth more than 11 ists and will probably grow in value as more runes are found.
he was trading with his sin and showed me his other weapon as reference as well. to me he really seemed like a generous sin player so I was fine with it
