The bug;
Meditation does not affect mercenaries at all.
Why this is an issue:
If you run meditation yourself it opens up options for your merc use. Theory crafting for an FoH build placing 20 hard points into prayer would give you a nice healing aura to keep your mercs alive even while they are poisoned.
However, because Medi dose not affect mercs the heal synergy does not affect them either.
You are definitely not the brightest light on a cheesecake. No one would even use meditation as active skill on a Paladin.
Again, this is not a helpful comment. What a player would or would not do, is not up to you to decide. Saying “no one would ever…” doesn’t mean that the interaction between Meditation aura and mercernaries does not need to be looked at. Mercs don’t use mana so it makes sense that it doesn’t work (I haven’t tested to confirm), but if the OP wants to use it a a source of healing then more power to them. That’s their choice as a player, not yours as the “meta police”.
