They say that they will never implement this function, so that the players continue to play together.
But the truth is that we all do the MF alone, and the only thing that causes is that people enter public games to have their particular /players8.
The only way we have to SHOUT that we want this since diablo2 exists, is by making noise.
I think it’s one of the few things that purists and moderns agree on.
So, post here your reasons for this to be implemented, and keep this thread up

I agree with this most ppl mf do so alone idea joining a game filled with ppl just get good loot isnt unfair and just wrong you literly have to join someone else to actually get high rune watch is crap sense d2 is on console you never have anyone to play with

Wouldn’t have a problem if it’s in non ladder. But for ladder it would force people to use it or they gimp themselves wich is not ok. Some builds perform better on higher player setting then others and they instantly have an advantage in wealth gain while others felt pressured to follow it
I would prefer a /players 4 which would scale up to 8 if - besides yourself - 3 other people join the game.
Nope it simulates what can be done on MP for SP.
Since you can get the effect on MP by getting people in game it makes no sense to do this.
What you actually want is increased loot and that is still a no. So get your MF party buddies, that happens in private etc.
SP != Online. Some play bnet only for trading, cross progression, or use different PCs.
Yes /p8 would kill ladder, but after ladder start theres absolutely no reason to forbid it in non-ladder.
It was created so that you simulate people in single player. That is it.
On online you can get the effect by people joining the game hence it would be redundant.
Want p8 loot ? Get 7 other people. Work for it a little.
+It would be bothersome for them to implement some type of game lock so that you cant do 2real players /p8 etc. etc.
So according to you, if I want to have fun on ladder I need to sign up on d2jsp ruin everybodies experience/ladder start by having almost/perfect maxed out gear day 1-5 (with forumgold which I either gathered over the years by scaming people left&right or/and bought it) and price fix everything so bad that you’re lucky if you get a Pul for a Shako? 
I started D2 20 years ago and never used d2jsp or felt pressured to use it so idk about that. I was still be able to just make trade games and play with my clan back in the day trading within our group and farm everything we needed pretty quickly
Yeah thats’s how it should be and a trading site like either PoE or Traderie a little bit more upgraded and daily bot ban waves (saw literally 10 unid annis after like not even 2 weeks in lol). But what I was trying to say is you kinda “feel pressured” to cheat aswell, otherwise you are exp and gear behind x100000 if you don’t have “their” start you know. I just want the site and all the scaming ****** (think of an insult) people banned.
Imagine having a lvl 95 engimadin. Would you run public baals? No /p8 for ladder.
But for non-ladder theres no reason to forbid it. Make non-ladder new open bnet

Those people didn’t really impact me honestly. We had like 15-20 active people in our clan back in the day we communicated our drops and basically equipped everyone for free within a reasonable time.

The players setting wouldn’t change that though. Prices would drop even more because of the flood of runes and d2jsp players would be geared even faster and cheaper then ever before. While you’d force everyone to farm high P runs and if you don’t play a build that is capable of doing high player settings you’d be screwed instantly
Wrong this has been proven time and time again. U can also use jsp for wow. Its not breaking tos to use jsp. Ur spread misinformation.
How is buying something on a 3rd party side that is not from blizzard and using it for items not against the ToS? So you probably think buying gold in WoW from chinese companies and botting is legal too?
Enabling the player setting would just inflate prices and will make everything even less affordable as it is now. The more runes drop the more you need to pay for stuff. I already see games with WTT Shako for 2 jahs
