literally been sitting here at 225 position in queue for over 10 minutes and it hasn’t moved once, Ticketmaster does a better job at queues than this.

Same here, 199 for about 15
Yeah Ive been sitting at 265 for about 10 minutes too now… with hundreds of thousands of players and the game crashes you would think that one of them would have stopped playing/crashed and the queue would have advanced… somethings wrong.
They are not updating the number in real time. Mine was 190 then 25-ish mins later I was just in. No count down really.
They mentioned this in the patch notes but it certainly feels bad to not see it go down. It actually is though.
We should note that the higher your queue number appears, the slower the number will refresh in the prompt. The number is still refreshing in the background, so we do not recommend leaving queue as this will create further delays to you entering the game during these high traffic windows.
I know this, at 56. The main issue is a queue for 199 people on a billion dollars company’s infrastructure shouldn’t take 40 minutes to log in. Imagine the issues they’ll be dealing with at 12-3pmn EST over the weekend when it picks up? Regardless of them letting us know it was going in place (I was actually fine with this) I somehow hoped they’d not do a complete garbage job…but that is asking so much for people with billions in resources, right?
